"Although in 2024 he has already won a BWBH & a Turbo, @Limp2Lose has been hitting the crossbar with monotonous regularity, with runner-up spots in Quickdraw (twice), Turbo (twice), Avenger Main, Gold Rush Main & Sheriff. Well he redressed the balance somewhat last night, winning the Main, which was his 5th Main Event FT this year. 2nd was @heellloooo then @Froozle, with @Solack in 5th.

@Tastysnack has been MIA for a few days but maybe the break did him good as he won the Mini, was 3rd in the Rebuy BH & 4th in Mega. Holds the very unusual - perhaps unique - distinction in that his best 6 results have all been for 2nd place in £110 events - 4 Majors, a Summit & a UKOPS HR. Seems to me one of those £110-ers will go his way soon, 4 times 2nd in a Major is a bit painful. @Brrrrrrr was 2nd, well done Pete, with Danny @Itsover4u in 3rd.

In Sheriff, @Natnug took the win, having run 6th the previous night. It was a most successful but very frustrating session for @cabbaz. Played just four MTT's & managed to run 2nd in three of them - Sheriff, Turbo & Quickdraw. The difference between winning those three or finishing second each time was around £800.

@MATTYJAJA took the 9 @ 9. Think that's their first featured MTT win since May 2020 when they won both Sheriff & Rebuy BH on the same night.

Phenomenal improvement by @NOSTRI who won Reload last night. His roll-call of headline MTT wins in 2024 - which is barely 6 weeks old - now reads Main, £1k Rebuy BH (twice), MidEx, Reload (twice), Mega, £1k BH, £500 BH (twice),and 9 @ 9. That's 10 wins in 6 weeks, a huge improvement on all his previous form.

@Frog751 plays PLO8 almost exclusively, usually DYM's, but last night he ventured into MTT territory & took down the £200 guaranteed. Has won the smaller one that runs t 19.45 at least a dozen times & seems to be a real High Low specialist.

The two SPT Brighton seats went to @tonyp142 & @lammin. 10 seats have now been won & we've yet to have a dupe."

Super Bowl did not seem to affect MTT numbers last night with everything covering nicely with the sole exception of a £72 Reload miss.

Many congratulations to @Drewett who achieved the exceptionally rare feat (possibly unique?) of winning back-to-back Sunday Majors. His last three £110 events have now resulted in two 1st places in the Major & 3rd in a BWBH. Sharky now give him a 93 rating, which is probably deserved. 2nd last night was Arsenal fan & Backwards Baseball Cap Bloke @Alvez11 & as it happens he made the same two Major finals, finishing 6th last Sunday & 2nd last night. 3rd was @Natnug with @Curt360x27 5th & @ILIKE2FISH in 6th. Special mention for 3rd placed @welshy1078 who did exceptionally well in high-class company, though he has had a few decent scores including wins in a Predator Main, Sheriff & Turbo.

@Trebor87 took the Mini Major a fortnight after finishing 3rd in a Mini Marksman. 2nd last night was @Curt360x27 who ran 5th in the Major so he gets a nice little £250 cash bonus from the FTJ. 3rd was Saturday's Mega winner, @davtherav. A real blast from the past in 4th, @Brownndog aka Lewis, who was at one time one of the biggest cash-game players on the site. His brother played here too, though a fading memory means his alias escapes me.

@Kenzo53669 will have been a little disappointed to "only" finish 3rd in Friday's Avenger Main but he bounced back to win last night's £5k BH & take home around £1,050, which I believe is 1,000 guineas in old money.

Sheriff was, as usual, dominated by quality players such as @Natnug @cabbaz @MikeyW94 @ego_death & @Awoken, though the old "exception to the rule" thing reared it's ugly head when @PKRPar somehow finished 5th despite not realising it was a BH.

Playing just their 5th MTT since September, @Flora82 makes their thread debut by winning the £800 BH.

@CANNONKID showed a glimpse of form when 2nd in last Thursday's £800 BH & confirmed it last night by taking down 7 @ 7. @MattBates is running well - not easy with his little legs - and after a hat-trick of wins on Saturday was 3rd in 7 @ 7, 3rd in a £300 BH & 2nd in Turbo.

Talking the talk was @blablabla with a Rebuy BH win & three FT's - 3rd in a £400 BH, 6th in a £500 BH & 2nd in a £150 Turbo BH, in addition he satellited into the £5k BH for £7.20. In 3rd was @GREGSTER who made a Reload FT last week. The amazing run of @platinum4 in the Rebuy BH continues, 4th last night, so in the last 6 nights he's played it 4 times, finishing 1st, 1st & 4th & nowhere.

There were some seismic sporting shocks yesterday, with Plymouth beating Liverpool, & in Scotland, Rangers losing at home to Queens Park of all teams. Neither were as big as last night's Mega result though, with @PKRPar grabbing 1st place. If ever credible evidence was needed that poker is all about luck there's all the proof you need. It's great to see the little guys do well now & then though. In 4th was @wynne1938 who has been unwell recently, hopefully he feels a little better after finishing 4th in this. I know I've said it several times before, and I'm not being condescending or patronising, but Wynne is around 87 years old, & to be able to cope with the kids at that age is nothing short of miraculous.

Sky Poker won't get rich out of @brummy1308 who has played just 8 MTT's since November, all of them Reloads, but he won't care as he won it last night.

Thursday's Reload winner @grinddd was back in the winner's circle, Turbo this time, then ran 4th in MidEx.

As is usually the case on a Sunday, @Tedson joined us & won his seat into the Major in a £24 satellite. Unusually for him he looked like drawing a blank in everything else though until he got himself out of trouble with a Quickdraw win.

Just 24 hours after winning Saturday's Sharpshooter Main, @roddy28 took last night's (this morning's?) MidEx.

Sheesh, that was a lengthy write-up. Anyone who managed to read all of that deserves a medal.
