NATO Defence Chiefs are currently meeting in Brussels for what amounts to a chinwag. Look at the size of it. If a bloke on the far side says "pass the sugar" his tea would be cold before the sugar bowl arrives. Gotta feel for the Tea Lady.

Impressive Meeting Room though, must have cost a few bob.

EDIT - I did a quick google & it seems these Brobdingnagian Meeting Rooms are quite common for meetings of Military top brass.

This day last year

"MTT traffic was probably about where it's expected to be for a midweek Thursday in February. One especially bright note was that new £400 PLO8 which made £490, if it can remain there or thereabouts it'll become a permanent fixture. The PLO version did really badly last Saturday, fingers crossed for a better turnout this Saturday.

In the Main, @Tastysnack took the top spot. What a week Tasty has had, 3 wins in their last 3 nights (did not play on Wednesday) - Monday's Mini, Tuesday's 9 @ 9, last night's Main. Splendid stuff. 2nd was @OurAndrew -could that be Prince Andrew? - who is an infrequent MTT-er here but does OK, having won a Sharpshooter Main last year & that big Sunday night BH in 2022. It was the 2nd time he's been runner-up in Hitman Main.

@spearsy136 took the Mini. Think that's his fifth Mini win (3 x Hitman, 1 x Sharpshooter, 1 x Mini Major), in fact make that 6 as he won a UKOPS Mini too. Quite the Mini record that, it's never an easy one to win. 3rd was @claudel9 who was also 3rd in 7 @ 7, this follows two FT's on Wednesday and 7 a 7 @ 7 win on Tuesday, so he's rattling along a treat.

@ToddB had a decent session, winning 7 @ 7 & 6th in the £1k BH. Best effort to date was winning a Hitman Mini last month.

@GFKIJKLL took Sheriff, followed by a gaggle of the usual suspects, with the addition of @River_Fox in 6th who I don't think normally plays Sheriff.

@SnipSnip one-tables Reload most nights, & after running 6th this time last month, had their patience rewarded with a win last night.

That £400 guaranteed PLO8 was played in tremendous spirit, good vibes & positive chat throughout. For a long time it looked like @pompeynic would get the win, but on a helter-skelter final table which swung & swong dramatically, @Asho28 took 1st place. A great bunch of players on that FT, a pleasure to watch & a credit to poker, well done @Asho28 @loololollo @onejohnb @bbMike @pompeynic & @dragon1964.

Two more seats were won to SPT Brighton, @Pipes22 & @gr0wapear so that's 17 now - & still no dupes.

Good Morning Noon.

Everton v Liverpool Live on TV & with a 7.30pm kick off suggested it would be a tough night for Sky Poker & so it proved, with a toral of £1,228 in overlay spread across 7 of the Headline events. Main & Sheriff were worst (£340 & £300 respectively) whilst 9 @ 9 almost made it, missing by an irrelevant £3.

The Main went to @sogenius, who has done very well in his 13 months here. Best result was winning the Sunday night £5k BH last July but this was not far behind, & with around 500 MTT's under his belt is nicely profitable. And for the cherry on the cake, he won his seat in a £7.20 satellite. Not the easiest of FT line-ups either, with @Arrogant @4kingboss @grinddd @lJAMESl & @podraic all in attendance. It was a solid session for @grinddd who was effectively double-freerolling the Main as he won two All-In satellites, then went on to finish 4th in the Main, as well as 2nd in both Mega & MidEx. Sharky report his profits are now well into 6 figures.

It's quite surprising how often MTT wins come in clumps, & we saw it again last night as @Bensons22 took the Mini, his 3rd win in 5 nights as he won Saturday's 9 @ 9 & Tuesday's 7 @ 7. It's a tired cliche, but they do seem to be like buses.





That sentiment might equally apply to @tatter12 who won 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in 3 attempts, & for good measure ran 5th in Tuesday's 9 @ 9.

The £800 BH saw something of a turn-up as @Super-Donk playing for just the 7th time in 15 months came out best. Where you been Mr Donk?

@RUTSTER19 has been on two headline podiums in 2025 finishing 3rd both times but that monkey is off his back now after winning Mega. His heyday was around 10 years ago when in quick succession he won a UKOPS, a £10k guaranteed televised Sky Sports BH & an £8,000 guaranteed BH.

It looks like a breakthrough year for @smith1408 won has already won a Predator Main & 7 @ 7 & added 9 @ 9 last night. On Tuesday @davidplatt scored twice (9 @ 9 & Reload) & made a very good fist at attempting the double-double last night, finishing 2nd in 9 @ 9 & 5th in Reload.

@lil_lola does not appear to lack stamina, was 2nd in a 2.30pm £250 BH, won Reload, & was back on site at 0645 this morning playing a £20 guaranteed Freeroll. Takes a bit of enthusiasm to be playing 20 quid freerolls before it gets light in the morning.

And how about this one? On Tuesday, @Milz47 joined Sky Poker. Never played any cash or DYM's but played exactly ONE MTT last night - Turbo. And won it. Think if I were Milzy I'd quit whilst I was ahead, it can only go down hill from P1 W1.

MidEx was won by @GABIAGREEN who was playing only their 6th MTT since November & first for three weeks. 5 of them were MidEx with finishing positions of 6th, 5th & 1st. Poker can very often be a horses for courses affair.

That's it for today. Intended it to be brief as I was up until 0330 playing an MTT but as usual, once I get started on these things I can't help rambling. It's an age thing.
