This day last year
"Something of a surprise in the Main at @ZEETZEET finished 1st. Joined Sky Poker during the Xmas UKOPS, played 2 DYM's & 4 MTT's prior to New Year's eve then disappeared until showing up last night & one-tabling the Main. What a way to make their thread debut. 2nd was Sunday's £6k BH winner, @FAS. @Swifteyyeu (5th) qualified for Brighton a day or two ago, so we'll see him at the weekend.
@lammin only plays once every few days & has been AWOL for a week before logging in last night to win the Mini, & like the Main winner, it was a 1-table affair. I've really no idea how folks can 1-table Online, so fair play to them. 5th was @Vertigo who had a busy night, as in addition to 5th in the Mini he won a £500 BH, won a seat to the Main in a £7.20 satellite & ran deep in it, & was 6th in the £1k BH.
Two nice win doubles. Firstly, @tonyp142 won both Sheriff & 9 @ 9, and also won his 2nd seat to SPT Brighton.
@seikus who had been AWOL for just over a week returned in style, winning Mega & Turbo.
Somewhat oddly, the £1k BH & 7 @ 7 both went to "moores" - @markymoore taking the former, with @Potsymoore winning the latter.
@Sculliosis had a very good if short sesh, playing 4 MTT's, and finishing 1st in the £500 BH, 1st in a £400 BH & 3rd in a £300 BH, & no good in MidEx, so 1st, 1st & 3rd from just 4 starts. Only pervious Thread mentions were for winning a Mini last month, & making the FT of Mega & MidEx recently.
The penultimate SPT Brighton Semi Final made 3 seats, with @HoldemMcg winning their 1st, @tonyp142 his 2nd & @loololollo being the first & perhaps only player to win 3 seats."

A very poor night indeed, with almost £1,500 of overlay across 8 different events. As explained yesterday, time of month relative to payday & Monthly Deposit Limits re-setting, plus of course there were 4 Premier League fixtures last night, the best of which were televised. There are 5 more tonight, including Liverpool v Newcastle with an 8.15 kick off, that's really is going to hurt us. Sky Bet won't be complaining though... Swings & swongs, mbn to be Flutter.
A week or so ago with my usual razor-sharp perception I suggested that maybe the once all-conquering @Natnug had been rumbled & the regulars had at last got his number. Well he won last night's Main, & since I wrote those comments a week ago he's won the Main twice, plus Sheriff & Quickdraw once each. Don't you just love smartarses? @Mazzybabe who won the Main 24 hours earlier was 5th. 3nd was @loolollol to whom we shall return later.
I'm sorry to say I don't know a great deal about Mini winner @SpigZ except that they've been here some 16 or 17 years & seems to be comfortably profitable. Some familiar names on the FT including @Brrrrrrr & @FORDAKIDZ & not forgetting @Awoken (5th) who also made the FT's of Mega (6th) & Quickdraw (2nd).
@Jscorgie played a short schedule, just 5 MTT's, so was maybe playing on other sites too, but he did rather well here, winning Summit & 3rd in Turbo. Has a glittering CV which includes wins in Sunday Majors n(twice), half a dozen Summits/BWBH's, UKOPS, & Mains galore. Can't be a lot of fun to share a table with though, how do you get a move past a player like him?
I mentioned I'd return to @loololollo well we all know he's pretty much The Daddy but what a night he had, 1st in Quickdraw, 2nd in the Main, 4th in Summit (plus won several sats to Summit), 4th in the £800 BH & 7th in 7 @ 7. Maybe @Natnug has been giving him some coaching.
@AFFMAHEED - gotta love that alias - played just the Rewards Freeroll & the £800 BH, winning the latter. Has some great results on his Report Card, including 1st & 2nd in Avenger Mains & twice 2nd in Avenger Mini.
Congrats to @Vegas2016 who was a shade unlucky to finish 4th in Monday's Reload but took 1st place last night.
@henners10 won the PLO8 but the one that caught my eye was 4th placed @skicowboys who seems to spend most of the year in Las Vegas getting the lot at South Point & The Orleans. WAL.
In the SPT Brighton Semi it made a pleasing 3 seats, with Tina @karlluke winning her 2nd seat, the other 2 seats going to @Thorxx & Tim Tim @TimmyRaRa.
Sorry for a slightly rushed report, but I'm absolutely full of cold & of course being a man I'm feeling proper sorry for myself, so all bets are off today & I'm going back to bed. Meh.
