That was quite funny. There was a horse running in the 2.40 at Cheltenham, that wanted to be called Bugsie Seagull. Unfortunately, whoever completed the naming form was a little dyslexic. It cant be changed. So the poor horse will forever be known as Bugise Seagull. Not quite the same ring to it.
Used to have a regular gig driving and shadowing a client at Cheltenham. He was a proprty developer type so you get the picture.
£300 a day plus all the trappings of hospitality. Loved the atmosphere there and all the little things that were "Cheltenham" like the Holy Fathers with the fivers.
Saw more dodgy business deals go down than you could shake a stick at. I wonder if it's changed any.
Horse racing has never interested me I saw i have been tagged in a thread I've never opened and wondered why, let's hope someone here wins the car
In the ITV7 you have to pick 7 horses. If you dont know anything about horses you probably have a better chance than those that think they do. To make a selection you just have to click.
The car draw works as follows. You click a button. ITV select a horse for you. If your horse wins the Gold Cup, you are entered in the draw. So you could win a car, just for clicking a button. If your horse doesnt win, you dont get in the draw.

I used to love going. My old boss used to take me in a helicopter.
The draw is done by ITV, so its probably not dodgy.

I got the favourite.
If your horse wins you go in a draw for the car.

Are you on?
@HAYSIE
Absolutely not. Never done an ITV7 in my life, & never will.
But VBOL to you this afternoon. A million quid would presumably increase your net worth by about 7%?
@HAYSIE
No ta, I've got a car already. Even I can only drive 1 car at a time.
