You know, i always wanted to go to the US especially Vegas, now , I wouldn't dream of going After what is happening now and all the crime tv shows I've watched it seems The States is full of weirdos and nut jobs My mind has been clouded and i just don't fancy it now
I haven't been to Vegas since the last time the Orange Man was in power.
The last 2 times I experienced considerable problems at Heathrow. Where I was taken to a room and questioned by American agents. Before eventually-and clearly reluctantly-being allowed to board my flight.
I still have no idea what the problem was. Because the line of questioning leaves you with no clue. A bit scary being questioned in the UK by foreign agents. Being accused, without being told what you are being accused of. Because the ESTA application means they can lay in wait for you. There were only 2 things that I felt could have caused this:-
1. (Thin brag alert). I once declared at McCarron that I was leaving with a substantial amount of cash (above the automatic limit). Posed for pictures with Agents at the airport
2. I happen to have the same name as a well-known dodgy British Billionaire
I think everybody should go to Vegas once. As I have often said (and I am not the first) Vegas is one of the best places in the world to spend 3 days. And one of the worst places in the World to spend 3 weeks...
Getting grilled entering the US is nothing new. Especially when travelling alone. I've always been careful when they ask if I'm there for work or leisure and say "I work for an American company and I'm here for three days of meetings". Then I make sure I have a print out of my hotel confirmation and return flight. The only time I've been stopped and searched at multiple points in the trip was the first time I went after visiting Cuba.
I'm not aware of anybody at work having problems yet. Then again, nobody at my place is a Venezuelan covered in tattoos. They aren't going through everybody's phone if your paperwork is in order.
+1 to Vegas being fun for a couple of days. I've never been sad to leave or wanted more time there. If you go alone as a man, you see a very different side to the town - and not in a good way.

I certainly wont risk going to Vegas.
Whenever I see Black American Land Cruisers or Limos I always take evasive action.
