"Traffic was OK, all things considered, but sadly, that £400 guaranteed PLO8 missed significantly, coming up 7 entries shy of the 40 needed. We've done our best to promote it & support it, but it's just not happening. What will be will be etc.

In the Hitman Main there was a perfect result for @Swifteyyeu who not only satellited in - he satellited in TWICE, & then went on to win the Main itself. How good is that? It was his second Main Event win, as he won a Marksman Main last November. His best ever score was well over £4,000 for winning £20,000 guaranteed £110 entry UKOPS last October. Runner-up last night was @dingle1234 with @Gutshotter in 5th.

The Mini went to @rashchoice who won the Mega last week & has made a few FT's of late. Runner-up was @Gutshotter and as he ran 5th in the Main he gets £250 from the FTJ. That's the second straight night there has been a FTJ payout, as @ILIKE2FISH picked up £750 on Wednesday night.

After running 5th in 7 @ 7 one night last week @Redman65 won it last night, & earlier this year he won a 9 @ 9. As far as I can see, those are the only two MTT's he ever plays. The name "Redman" resonates strongly with me, as a chap named Jim Redman was a motorcycle GP racer in the sixties, mostly 250cc & 350cc, & was one of my heroes. Apart from 5 or 6 World Championships, I seem to recall he won a handful of IOM TT's. In those days racing motorbikes looked like road motorbikes, & we could go buy near-replicas. I used to attend race-meetings all over Europe, & could usually blag my way into the Paddock as I knew a few of the riders. What memories.






@BWFCx has been doing well of late, & in the last week had had three nice results - 2nd in Quickdraw, 2nd in Turbo, & then last night 1st in Turbo.

Exactly a week ago there was a tremendous FT for the £400 PLO8 in which @NChanning pipped @Enut and on that occasion, @Braveheart missed out on most of the fun as he exited 6th. It was his turn last night though & he booked the win, with @safc71 2nd & @epsomguy 3rd. Sheriff Hero a few nights ago, @weecheez1 was 4th, with @Asho28 who really does seem to have a talent for PLO8, notwithstanding his comments to the contrary, in 5th.

Slightly disappointing numbers for the Vegas Quarter Final last night, just 14 entries, quite a contrast to Monday (32), Tuesday (21) & Wednesday (23). It's so hard top predict these things. Semi Final seats went to @SPTPaul & @thisltedu Remarkably, @ILIKE2FISH won through again - that's 3 times in 4 nights, & he bubbled on the other occasion.

Morning.

After emerging relatively unscathed by the CL games on Tuesday, last night was a bit of a bloodbath, with overlay amounting to £916, the worst culprits being Reload (£227), Quickdraw (£220), Mini & Mega (both £140) & Turbo (£100). Just imagine what it would be like if Arsenal reached the CL Final.

We had a really popular winner in the Main as @aynaricol swept to victory, her first decent result since winning the Rebuy BH early last month, although to be fair her volume has been quite light of late. It's her 3rd Main Event win as she won Hitmans in both 2022 & 2023 although her biggest ever win was a 2021 UKOPS Mini. She is one of a rare breed of poker players who has worked out that the key to enjoying poker as a hobby is to find a way enjoy it - or at least bear it with dignity - when you don't win. Even the best MTT players in the world lose more often than they win, so that's a key skill imo. @grinddd won his seat in a £1.80 All-In Sat & ran 3rd for £382, then won Quickdraw & was 7th in Turbo. We've seen very little of @Nitrogen since he won a Mini Avenger in February, but he popped up in 5th last night.

We also saw a popular winner in the Mini with @gixxerk4 taking the top spot. He's been here a good while, in fact his biggest 3 scores were all in a 3 month spell back in 2011. He's big into golf, so he'll be avidly watching the Masters Golf the next few nights & if we are lucky, he might even give us his tip for the winner.

Having already won both Reload & MidEx this year, @fiers5527 completed his hat-trick with a surprise win in Sheriff & in doing so denied @NChanning the win, though the latter has published some strong fancies for The Masters on his Betting Emporium site so will probably pocket a good few bob if any of those get across the line.

The £800 BH went to @bonanza009 who might just be named after that wonderful TV show that featured Ben, Joe, Adam & Hoss. Even though it was back in the 60's, I still vividly remember the theme tune & opening graphics.




Runner-up last night was @terrytwomoreUNFOOKINREAL

After joining us last Summer but playing very little, @coach14728 makes his thread debut with a fine win in the Rebuy BH. Wonder if Our Coach friend is really Colin Farrell?







For at least the 2nd time this year @smith1408 won 9 @ 9, he also won a 7 @ 7 & a MidEx in January, & best of all, 2 days before that 7 @ 7 win, took down Predator Main.

Not much I can tell you about Reload winner @JusChick as he has blocked his Sharky stats, so we'll leave it at that.

@BAMBUS completed a 2025 hat-trick of wins in Turbo. Seems to much prefer the late night stuff.

MidEx went to @jedinemo who won a Sharpshooter Main early last year.

In Big Boy Watch, @loololollo won 7 @ 7, Mega went to @Froozle & @grinddd took Quickdraw.

Yet another good session for @spearsy136 who not only qualified for Sunday's Vegas Semi, (along with @wineli) he also binked a Sunday Major seat in the Freeroll. If he gets the run of the cards on Sunday he's quite capable of winning both.

I think you've been subjected to more than enough waffleage for today, so that'll do, case dismissed.
