    Not a bad beat thread...i dnt think? :S lol maybe im pushing the bounderies of bad beat threads, how about cold deck threads? thats more like it?

    Above is an example of why I darent/wont play the higher stakes where I believe I shud be, and am rolled for....

    Would just hurt TOO MUCH!

    What a fiasco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    A split pot and sky decides that Cranky gets£16.24 and you only get £16.23?

    That penny could make all the difference. A slit Pot should be a split pot lol

    0.25 Dohh calls a reraise all-in from one of the tightest players in history with 3rd pair.

    0.51 Dohh shoves all-in on a 4-to-a-straight board with 2 pair

    0.53 Dohh does not have the discipline to fold with his straight when the board pairs and a big river bet comes from a guy who obviously had 2 pair or a set previously.

    0.53-1.10 Dohh trawls through his poker books and internet forums looking for some theory that says you should make any of the 3 moves.

    1.10 Dohh posts hands on forum hoping someone will tell him: 1. Yes always call all-ins with 3rd pair against tight players.  2.  Of course you are pot committed when you have 40% of the pot and your stack and the board shows you are obviously beat.  3.  Of course 3/3 3/4 A/A or 4/6 are the most likely hands he could have but he just mighta been slow playing 2/4 so ya gotta call.

    K/K v 7/7 - aye ok I let you off that one but playing 1 outa 4 hands well aint winning poker.

    Im on the best run ive ever been on Tony, playing through the night rather than through the day.

    The tourny play is rubbish though - not gone deep in a proper structured tourny for ages - the velocity is keeping me alive!!

    The cash tables r fine tho - dont u feel that when u post a hand where u lost alot, doesnt have to be a bad beat - it helps you get over it and move on?

    For some reason it really helps me put the hand behind me, clears the mind, and gets me off tilt (mainly coz I ave to leave the table for ten mins to post it)

    But the tourny game at the moment is ice cold - need to buck my ideas up !!!

    By the way I was only having a laugh wi Dohh - he knows that - I told them at the time what a great read it was on me and no way you can fold the straight the KQ on the K/Q/J/10 board though.................

    Was just one of them days when getting most the money in behind was the best tactic - here are 2 of the hands I played on the same board - similar theme to Dohh I got stung with 4/4 and someone with 7/7 caught a lucky break v me (was the same player incidently in both hands).  Apologies for the format of the hands not sure how to put them on a post properly.
