Crazy velocity

I have just been playing in the £1000 velocity and was running well in about 8th place when the table kept changing and my avatar just disappeared when I realised what was happening I had been replaced and was playing as becster467 or something. I lost concentration and wondered was someone else going to benefit if I cashed in. I busted out and IM angry that this has happened can anyone explain>
