Introducing an additional payout level between 10 and 20

I was playing the 23.10 Velocity tonight and seen the payout from 20th place down to 11th was £7.15, only £1.65 more than the £5.50 buyin.
I think, instead of the number of places paid jumping from 10 to 20, I think there should be a 15 places paid, something in the middle, which means you will be making a bigger percentage of profit when you cash rather than just the 30% that it was in the Velocity tonight.
Sometimes the number of entrants have just crept over the threshold, I have previously seen the payout it less that the combined buyin plus the fee.
From 20th onwards, I think it is fine for the jumps to be 10 in between but I feel it would be better if there was a number inbetween 10 and 20, 15 for example.
Your thoughts please.
