well i was going to say how much i hate live poker because i seem to run so bad at it. today i decided to go to the g-casino, entered a £30 freezout there were 32 runners so wasnt too bad. didnt play a hand for about an hour then raised it with 55, got 2 callers. flop came 2-3-5 rainbow, i cbet obv and a guy goes allin. its about half my stack total and the guy who pushed had been playing so bad. he had A-4 lol i just laughed and continued. its now the last hand before the break and i get 10-10, i raise and get 1 caller, flop comes J-9-2 i go allin, he insta calls i think *** haha, he turns A-9 over. im ahead hooray. turn 9, river 9, thanks for coming lol.

i then sit down with £70 on the £1/£1 cash table (yes £1/£1). i win a nice pot with K-Q to get upto about £110 and win around another £70 with aces from a guy trying to bluff huuuge. then the interesting hand, i have 9-6 suited on the BB, utg raises to £7 and gets 5 callers, so i call with value, flop comes 9-9-9 i nearly had a heart attack lol, so i obv check and call the guys big cbet, i check call his big bet again. by this time the pot is about £70 and the board is 9-9-9-8 the river comes an A. now here im first to act, hes shown he has a hand but if he has a pocket pair that ace will make him fold if i bet big, i hope he has an ace so bad. i bet £50 he insta calls. he turns over AA!!!!!!!! he obviously felt sick that i had quads but i couldnt believe it, he only called the bet, i thought it was amazing how he didnt lose alot more money there, the only thing he was losing to was quads. that got me upto around £300 ish and i won a few more nice pots. unfortunately finished on a bad hand wherby i lost £100 to the guy on a heater, he hit trip 10's with k-10 whilst i had A-Q and hit a Q. this guy sat with £20 and left with about £1000!!!!!! thats how much of a heater he was on, it was so unreal. i felt gutted i threw £100 away but i still walked away with £320 from a £70 buyin. so allin all not too bad tonight and i had good fun. and it saves me from moaning about live poker for the next few days ;)

    I finally went to the Bournemouth casino last night for the first time - 25 pound freezeout, 37 runners.  Last hand before the first break i had 4,5 in the BB. Flop came K,3,6, Turn came 2 and a guy shoved. I shoved over the top and was called by a flush draw and u can guess what hit on the river!!!!!! 10K pot and I was left with 1.7K.  Ground it back up and finished 3rd in the end for 130 quid :)

    Why 1/1 Hursty whats that all about did you ask ??

    And while Im here rather than start a new discussion, the cash for points. theyre given for every 20 raked hands at a cash table? do I have to be in the hand when the rake is taken?

    I.e if there are 20 hands all in pre flop, and im not involved in any, wud I still get the points as I am being dealt cards in those hands?

    Well, I'm just about on my way to the Vic to check out side game action..

    I've been bought into a £25 'RAZZ' competition. I LOVE Razz... I'm totally going to TAKE IT DOWN!!.. Just as soon as I find out exactly what 'Razz' is... 

    Seriously I don't have a clue.. I just looked it up and apparently the worst hand wins. I should be fine then right?!

    Had the joy of playing my first live game last Monday,  20 runners, didn't win a single hand,  had a ball.....  came home to be consoled by my beloved Sky Poker.......  SP let me come second in a MTT and cash £100.....  I love you Sky Poker.
