Can you win The Dan?

As you will have seen from another Thread, there is now a DanTB10 Tourney on a Sunday evening at 7pm.
Dan is proper busy now, wearing his Total Player hat, he does PTP each Sunday (& this dovetails nicely into that), phone-ins to the Live Show during his PTP sessions, & now his own "badged" Tourney every Sunday. On top of that he will, of course, be in Glasgow for the next SPT, then a fortnight later he'll be in Coventry for the £1,070 Buy-In GUKPT, again as part of his prize, & soon after, it'll be Vegas baby. MBN!
So, this Tourney on Sunday evenings.
There used to be a £100 Tourney on Sky Poker every Sunday evening, but it was a real struggle to get a decent field. There was a lot of hooting & hollering when the Tourney was removed from the schedule, as to "why" (lack of runners!) & what it could or should be replaced with.
Dan was prominent in that debate - well he won that £100-er about 3 times! - & he's often said since that it's a shame that there is not a deep-stack slow clock Biggie on a Sunday evening on Sky Poker. Well, now there is.
Will it last, will it get runners?
Well I hope so, I think the Site is crying out for such a Tourney, but it needs to get a tidy field. So I plan to try my best to moblise players who can afford it to play it. So some of you may expect a PM about it soon!
It's not for everyone, of course, many prefer the faster paced stuff - the nightly Main Event still draws far & away the biggest fields on Sky Poker, so nobody can argue with their popularity, but I hope that those that can manage a bigger buy-in, slower structured (so less luck-dependent) Event will support this.

A satellite route has been set up for the Event, Adam Posted it on the other Thread, but here it is again.....
Originally, they were not going to run any Satellites, as Sky Poker has a lot of satellite-based stuff going down right now, with VLV, SPT's, etc, but they then decided to offer up Satelites to gauge demand.

So, I hope that the word will get round - & you will help spread the news - & this Tourney takes off.
The first running is this Sunday, & unfortanately, I am working down in Brighton (at Brighton Racecourse of all places) so I'm not available this Sunday. Bang goes £100 of valooooooo......
Dan is the Man, it should be a corking Tourney, so lets try & see if we can make this one stick.

Well it is here!
The best structured tournament on the whole site bar none!
5,000 starting chips, and not 10 or 12, but a 15 minute clock!
It is what all deepstack enthusiasts have been crying out for!
This structure will remove alot of the luck factor that is associated with the faster structured tournaments and will give plenty of play to all, and im sure we will see some great poker played!
With the £55 buy in i hope it will attract some of the higher buy in players who have previously not played deepstacked poker on sky. Plus with satellites running all day everyday from about £2.80 it means every player has the chance to win big!
Sunday in the online poker world is tournament day, and every site has their own deepstacked sunday tournament. Now we can say the same!!
I really hope people get behind this tournament and it becomes a mainstay on a sunday night.
If your a fan of deepstacked tournament poker, then this is the one for you!
