Under Pressure?

Does anyone else feel the pressure a bit more or a lot more when playing big featured touneys?

I have no problem playing MTT's with 50-100 players, I even get into the top ten most of the time.

But when is's a big featured tourny of up to 700 players I start to feel the heat a bit and very rarely end up in the money.

I think it's because I feel I need to increase my stack quicky as the blinds go up quickly, plus the fact that you playing for a big prize pool too. Also, if you lucky or survive long enough, you might even get to see your hand played TV and you don't want to make a bad play in front of the whole nation or the respected Tikay for example.

I think the thing to do in these big tourneys is to forget the pressure of a big event and just play your normal game but I still feel you need to increase that stack quickly to stand a chance of getting paid.

Don't worry too much, I think it very rare when the whole nation watches sky poker.  Position position position is the key.
