...Trust your instincts enough to fold this hand........

Been at the table 15 minutes, trebbled up 2 hands before, I thought I was running sick on this flop.....but you just know you're losin, but can't help but call....coz u have such a good hand!!!!

Its not like "oh he cant fold his aces" - Such a super strong hand.....Anyone believe in their reads enough to fold this kinda hand??? - Again maybe like the KK v AA pre flop thing.

Can anyone post a huge fold that they got right? - probably have to be a 3 way pot to be able to know if its right or wrong......I wish I'd folded! lol :(

i think tikay showed a very similar hand on the club last night. like he said you gotta call in that situation. horrible feeling you know you are going to lose it, but like he said, if you start folding hands like that, where do you draw the line!!

i folded this hand, altho maybe its easier as it was omaha so it might not count, i put him on AJ after the turn, just my read from the time he took etc, therefore i told myself i gota get out the way here, punishment for slowplaying i guess!:

ahhhhh lozza I have no idea how good/bad that fold is, absolutely clueless when it comes to omaha.....

    Any hold em ones?

I think everyone in hold em, convinces themselves their hand is "too good to fold"

Likewise, people convince themselves their hand "isn't good enough to make the call on the river"

Surely, if its the 2nd best hand its the right fold, no matter how good it is????

........That has to be what seperates the good from the brilliant....?

yeh everyonetgio makes a crying call even when knowing they're beat, on ur hand, u have to call, it would be wrong to fold on any street there i guess, even if u put im on K10diamonds or monster draw like that, u still have the odds to make the call so u cant do anything there, ill ty fetch out any hold em hands, but i think i have the same problem as u so i probably wont find any! lol

Not sure if I like calling his reraise after flop. I would find it tough to put him on AA or KK with no preflop reraise against two opponents. Think you have to put him on a jack or an aggressive draw. Hard to find the 3bet to find out though. The blank on the turn just gets you deeper, but the allin after the Ace on the river means you could be losing to K10 as well as a better Jack. Really a crying call as you are only beating a busted flush.

But as you know Im useless at cash anyway ! !

Love the link donkeyplop...seen it before but never get tired of watching that!!

Also the commentary, Devilfish is saying its an easy fold....maybe these top class guys can do it!....

What I will add tho is it's a tourny, and Ive watched hours and hours of the high stakes cash games, and seen Phil Hellmuth fold the best hand so many times.....I guess trying to set up the huge pot....

But yeah that was a good fold, on a paired board tho, It always makes it easier......

AQ penguin I guess is the only hand I could beat.....

If you found urself in this position, in the first level of a deepstacked tourny, say the DANTB thing the other night, how would you play it? - Where would you get away? - Where would you get more money in for value, if at all??,

    - Would you be raising TJ s pre flop first level? (if not, still answer above anyway :)

I would like to think i could fold it mate but to be honest i dont think i could! im sure the best players in the world would be able to find the fold button when they find themselves in the same situation but are playing for £1,000's per hand, but at the stakes im losin £50 quid ere and i think most people are! ...
i had a similar hand ages ago on nl100 i was holdin AJ suited raised it up to £4 and got 2 callers, flop was J J 7 i cant remember exactly how i played the hand but i can remember i ended up losin around £200 odd quid because one of the callers held pocket 77's! and i can remember thinkin at the time that i should have been able to find the fold button, and i probably should have! but these hands are so difficult to put down!! anyone who comes on this thread and says they can lay this hand down for £50 is talkin out there **** imo! so dont worry about it geeza! ul with the hand anyway mate but ur still 50quid up and im sure u will be addin a few hundreds on by the end of the night!  so stop moanin ;-)

Not sure if I would get away at all ! Early in a big tourny I generally fold J 10, but as they were suited I probably limp and look for a cheap flop, not wanting to pair either of them, but playing for straight or flush. With the set on the flop, I would have to bet potsize.

How I would react to the reraise would depend on who it was, there are many players I could find a fold against.

If it was someone I could see making that move with K10, diamonds, or AQ,I would still hate calling. Putting a 3bet in here is better value than calling turn and river, it minimises risk from draws, and gives me option of reassessing if he shoves.

Later in a tourny is different, it almost certainly would have been goodbye from me !
