Transition from 10 seaters to 6

This is a question that comes up sometimes, so I thought I would start a post, so helpful tips all please

You need a wider range of starting hands in 6 seaters as blinds come round more quickly.

I prefer 10 seat ring games as the blinds don't come round so often (therefore cheaper!) and (I think..) if you hit the flop you are more likely to get a customer.
