Hi,

Opinions please.  Played the Forum Deepstack last night and luckboxed a win.  However I remember the hand below and wonder if this right play over time.

rossjb14 Big blind  2000.00 3000.00 9430.00

Now as you can see I'd have been busted but should I be calling.  When Scrum re-raised I was thinking kings or aces but with my stack dwindling should I be calling?

Cheers

Ross

why do you put him on kings or aces? its a terrible fold tbh but at least youre posting the hand even though it worked out for you.

Ive already clicked call before the action gets to me here Ross.....You have under 5xbb left....and the 3rd best hand in poker.

Look how short these guys are, AK is golden here, they are shoving alot wider than AA, KK, QQ.....

But having seen the result, who can argue with ya - nice win in the end.

(If I remember rightly Ace Queen was enough for you to call my all in on the bubble !! grrrr)

I wouldn't instantly be thinking aces or kings but the least i expect between these 2 here is 1 pp and 1 big ace. so at best i'm racing against 1 hand and dominating the kicker of the other (obviously the thought that an ace is also in an oppenents hand means im aware i only have 2 aces and 3 kings to beat the PP). with 5 outs to pp and no side pot to speak of i may fold here

Thanks for the replies. Remembered Scrum having Aces and hate calling with two hands already in the pot.

Lesson learned.  Doh - I think I called because you were on the button.  I expected the three to come down on the flop though.
