Am I the only person getting increasingly p****d off with this business of tounament coverage ending at 12 just as the tournaments reach their most exciting point?
I understand Sky etc impose constraints on the Sky Poker people but, if tournaments are regularly over-running, which seems to be the case, then surely the start time must be brought forward to ensure the end time can be accomodated?
Seems like basic scheduling stuff for a TV CHANNEL!!!!!!

I am pretty sure this has been covered in another part of the forum at some point, unfortunately I cannot find it at the moment, maybe Sky Rich knows where it is hiding? please
Hmm, i'll have a dig around - but i'm not 100% confident i can find the thread you're talking about Barry.
I've had a quick chat with the guys here and the current practise, as you point out, is to show the tournaments until 12. I'll certainly pass on this feedback, however its not an exact science when tournaments will end. for example, exactly the same tournament could be finished at 11.30 one night but 12.30 the next. It all depends on a number of variables (such as style of play etc) so one show could completely cover a tournament whereas another may not quite catch it all. Not the perfect answer i'm sure but hopefully that goes some way in answering your query.
all the best to you,
Rich
You can see (probably) the most extensive here.
