In Response to Re: Anyone Support a Dedicated "No Bad-Beats Day?" : You'll do for me. And they are all the same! It's as bad in Live Poker, during breaks. "And the flop came...". "so I raised it up...". "And guess what he called me with?" "You'll never guess what the river was?" Eyes have glazed over by now, I'm emitting every known body-language sign to say "I gotta go" & on they drone. Sometimes you go to walk away, as if to rush to the loo, & they grab your arm - "I'm not finished yet". Err, you are mate. It's a very peculiar thing, & I don't think anyone quite understands why folks so love to tell them. I do know that nobody likes to hear them. Sadly, we have no choice. Posted by Tikay10

I'm so sick to death of opening threads in here and seeing that blummin' hand history pasted in that it's actually putting me off reading the forum at all. It's fair enough in the Strategy area where people want to discuss the game properly, but seeing moaning about someone's precious pocket-pair getting beat by a set is so mind-bendingly boring that I may now need NHS treatment to reverse the effects.

You will be on a long waiting-list. Bad-Beats are now believed to be responsible for almost 60% of the UK`s Mental Health problems. (Source: The Sun, Tuesday 04 May 2010)
