Playing the nuts against 2 players

10 handed table, im playing a few games, my approach on these tables is to just play the cards im dealt, try n flop the nuts, or find AA / KK pre and get it in, im not really interested in watching how others play, whats been going on, who's lairy, agro etc - I cant multi table like others, so I just play cards - Hence I have no reads.

Ive posted a hand before, where I flop the nut flush and have 2 people betting into me.......

I posted for advice, and was advised to play it strong on the flop. I dont want to lose customers here, so what hands could my oppos have? overpair to the board, Ace/King of diamonds? a six? - and what is the correct play bearing in mind the hands I'm likely to be up against? - Can ya give an exact raise size if that is your option? - and reasing behind it....looking at stack sizes imparticular...

How do you respond on the turn? - they both have a pot sized bet left behind....

    Hi DOHHHHHHH,
Why would you want to do anything other than call the turn bets and then bet the river, as i see it the only other  move is to pot it and hope that one or both call.
One thing i definitely would not do is call the turn and then check the river, even when your opponents have consistantly led out, but you know this better than me m8.

Dunno, this can be as tense as trying to get a bluff through sometimes.  Personally I would raise that turn, but by how much I`m not sure.

you have to raise the turn, if villan has Ad or Kd he will call, if you dont raise turn villan might not put another penny into pot on river if he miss a draw.
the size of raise on turn is hard as both players r sat short i would make it £19 if both call then pot is about £75 and a £20 bet on river sets both of all in.
if it was me i am c/r on flop as when i have played 10 handed on sky its lots of calling stations

How many fist pumps and expletives came out when you flopped that? You've not had that much fun since flopping the nuts on Kerry Katona! It's tough spot to extract value though - I'd call and bet river in hope another diamond comes or they hit some kind of Full House and get paid that way! On paired board, will big diamond come along regardless or would it scare them off? I guess that's where reads on their previous would've come in handy!

Deep down I know that's the right move and in theory, I like to think I'd raise but if I'm being honest, I'd call and then bet :(

Check raise flop to like 10-12 then just bet every street.
Or check call flop and cry if a diamond turns.

    +1

If they call they are comitted to calling a shove on the river with a huge range.

If the players in the hand are generally passive i lead the flop otherwise i check raise the flop to take control of the pot and make sure im able to get all the money in by the river (pot management).

Your lucky another diamond didnt come on the turn as that could of ruined your action, your also lucky lemonada looks like has a big hand as the turn could of easily been checked around on that scary of a board.

Its funny how we always disagree on hands where you slowplay the nuts lol (agree with you on mostly all other hands), you obviously have your reasons for this but my thoughts are that you make most of your money from 50nl games (passive games) by VALUE BETTING as most players call way too lightly.

DOUBLE YOUR BET SIZES...DOUBLE YOUR WINRATE :-)

Yeah, I wanted to say I`d minraise, but refrained as so many think it is so bad.  If there was ever a time to mr, this would be it imo.
