Mine got cracked good and proper.... on the button.. the player under the gun makes a small raise from 20 to 40...l am sat with the nuts,late position and all set to take him down.. I re raise to 80 chips and he flat calls... flop came down,, 4 J K.. he limps a bet of half pot..I re-raise the value of that pot...he flat calls... he's not going away I thought..with this l had him either chasing a straight or KQ hence the flat call trying to save himself some chips if l was AK... turn card came down..it's an 8..that not good to him l thought... now lets kill this off before he gets lucky on the river with trip K, or hitting a Q..bang in went all my chips... the cards turned and my little heart sank..he was sat with pocket Kings and had hit his trips already..my only prayer was an A on the river...no such luck!!!..I was out..Having said all that, if he'd gone all in l would have called..so either way, l was going to be leaving the table.
All l will say is...l was a) out played.. b) unlucky with the flop..and c) served me right for putting all my chips in.
Moral???? AA maybe the nuts in your pocket.but like any other pair, they are only as good as the flop... those 2 babies cost us more games/money than any other pocket cards...why?? because we think them unbeatable!!!

i`v had pocket aces 4 times in a row in big blind and got nowt every flippin time they all folded including small blind ( could they c my cards ) but had laugh it off and according 2 ed giddens the odds off get aces liike that are over 2 billion to one should have gone 2 bookies lol
