Does your brain need peace & quiet?

Ok... how/where does everyone play poker?

I play in the living room with with kids booting footballs outside, tv on, dogs running around, kids charging in and out, phone going, ice-cream van blaring music 4 times a day...well you get the picture!
It seems to however be the only place to play as if I moved to the bedroom to play the house would follow anyway and luckily I am getting more and more used to blocking out the noise!

Hey, maybe if I win the lotto I'll get a cleaner and nanny and have a nice quiet poker room but I'd probably loose then as it would be too quiet?!!

How many of you play in a similar environment or do you find a designated room better?

    One of my spare bedrooms is the computer / music room so yeah, designated room :)

    .. except I'll scream at anyone bringing me "a cuppa" - I need beer ;-) lol

    mmmmm beer...might have to move into yours noseybonk!
    Mr Miyagi...it is that pink squishy thing..normaly inbetween ears but maybe you just dropped it under the sofa! lol

    ahhh....i think i'd sell mine for an Alton Towers ticket too! lol

    Candi..I feel your pain ((hugs))

    Dohhhhhhh...now all I need for your idea is a mini fridge, coffee maker and large supply of chocolates in the bedroom :o)
