Omaha Tourney Fun, Part 2.

edited May 2010 in Poker Chat

I'm not PTP-er tonight, I believe Mr Orford has that pleasure, but I'm gonna repeat last night' Omaha fun-boree, where a bunch of us played the £5.50 Omaha Tourneys through the evening, & the mock abuse, thrills & spills were a pleasing change.

So I've Registered for the....

7.15pm £5.50

8.15pm £5.50

9.15pm £5,.50

10.15pm £5.50.

Note I will be on my personal Account this evening, "tikay1".

As an added Bonus, (chirping rights only, no prize), we'll have a side-bet as to who gets the best AVERAGE finishing position. So if I finish 10th 4 times from 4 Tourneys, my result is 10. If someone plays TWO of the designated Tourneys & finishes 1st & 17th, their average score is 9.

We got some bigger fields last night, averaging about 20, so be good to get somewhere near that last night.

    Handicapping of Results.

Anyone who's Forum Name begins with "M" is penalised TWO places.

Anyone who has a Forum Name ending with ogg, ack, or ommyd, penalised FOUR places.

Other Handicaps available upon request or suggestion.

I'll give it a bash but obviously after I win the first one I shall be retiring to protect my average.

Also, the Omaha leg of Team Poker will be my primary concern.

After my dismal performance in the first one last night, would a four place bonus for anyone with feathers be in order ?

Taking each question seperately, & in order.

    1) It depends.

    2) It depends.

    3) It depends.

After some consideration, I have decided that.

    1) 1 4 point penalty for any cloven-hooved animals.

    2) A 3 point penalty for any Penguin with a number after it's name.

    3) An additional 1 point penalty for every consecutive "o" at the end of their Forum name.

Tell me more! I did the RC work on the Ribble Bridge (Preston) the Orwell Bridge (Ipswich), & Kelham Bridge (Newark).

Remind me, & I'll tell you the story at some stage.

i build temp bridges for constuction sites , railways (lots at moment due to existing bridges being lifted cause they to small to let new freight containers through). events such as gp, wimbledon ,farnbourgh air show etc. up to about 80m long. 5kn per sq inch loading. stairs, ramps. you name it. we also do constuction bridges ( ex army bridges modified) they take up to 70 ton. they are normally green, but i will spray them any colour you like!!!
