All in pocket queens

  I had this in the vagas tonight picked up QQ so  raised 3 times BB  got a call the flop came down all low cards so continued bet then got reraised at this stage I thought he had  A 8  or maybe a straight draw so decided to go all in so any draw cant call and top pair would be worried about an over pair got called and was happy with the call as i was ahead but got out drawn (as is usual at the moment) did I do wrong ? should i just called bet out on the turn and finally fold on the river which would have saved me money

    That's the flop we want to see without another Queen so apart from making it bigger pre flop (which gives no guarantee of getting 8 6 to fold anyway) there's little you can do! Calling flop would be pointless - if you're not happy to get it in on that flop, would you on turn that's even more dangerous? They're not folding (probably raising) on the turn and as you're putting them on A8/straight draw, both of those hands improve by the river so you'll be kicking yourself if you played it safe and then fold - it's dream flop to get the maximum as so many hands love that flop that you're beating so get the money in there rather than hoping to save some chips incase they go on and improve!

    Other than betting slightly too small on the flop (because you'll get called and be in lots of horrible spots on bad turn cards) you played it perfectly.  UL. Tis poker.

    Post a hand that you need help on not one where your moaning about bad beats. Its about time mods sorted this on any other forum you would be banned for this.

    Thanks Buster I'm glad you have the intelligence and humor to see  why I put up the second hand, I just wish people had better things to do other than moan I think the moaning out ways  the bad beats  perhaps the forum should have a Bed beat topic so you can put your bad beats up, then people know what's on it and can avoid them
    Perhaps also a moaning topic so the habitual moaner's can moan to their hearts content
