The only other one I've read was by Anthony Holden, it was a Christmas gift, it was an OK read for my holiday, but not nearly as good as the Harrington books.
I've been given another book, Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time Volume 1, which looks good, I'm keeping that one for back for a trip away in August when I won't be able to play poker for about 8 weeks.
To get the most out of these books you need to re-read them several times.
I on the other hand only read books like Marley & Me and Harry Potter so I'm useless to ask lol
I haven't got any though, honest!!
Also, it is widely accepted by psychologists that different people learn things better in different ways. Therefore, the written medium is NOT always the best approach for everyone.
There are some successful poker players who have never read a poker book (or so they claim!).
Patchings, can you send me some links to those free books?
And Hal.....what sorta things should I be typing into UTUBE to find these vids? - Ive tried loadsa times but cant find many....
DOHH
Google something like BItcomet or bittornado - Instal that software
then google something like poker e-book torrents and you should find a ton of sites with thousands of downloadable books
Not that i would say this should be done as i hear that sort of stuff is copywrited lol
Its pretty easy to find and you can get books worth $5000 for free :-)
