Ok guys, so you know the score by now but just in case you don't and you fancy writing a blog, have a little read of the text below...



Hi Everyone,


Before we start, a massive 'thank you' and 'well done' must go out to Dylan, Penguin and Hal who have all been fantastic with their blogging efforts (I will be in touch with each of you privately, at a later date to arrange a little 'thank you')

we'll give you guys another week or so and get the next group to commence their blogging journey at the start of June.

ok, so on with the show....



The time has come to start the search for the next batch of user bloggers...

As hopefully you have all seen we have a fantastic blogs section in the community, with some great examples from tikay, Richard Orford and LML to name but a few.
This is all well and good but the true Sky Poker Community is all about YOU our users, so we have decided to open our loving blogging arms and invite some of you to write blogs and publish them on our site.

What you have to do
If you are interested in writing a blog and feel you could make at least one new entry every week for about a month or so then just give me a shout on this thread. We will pick up to 4 people based on their community contribution so far.

What to blog about?
You can blog about....just about... anything, that is the beauty of bloging. It could be poker themed, about your sports team, the weather or even your pet cat (just check out tikay's latest entry!). All we want are interesting blogs that our users will enjoy reading.


Please post here if you're interested and we will make our selections in the next week or so.

To get some inspiration check out all our other blogs on the community homepage.

    I think Huflungpu should do a few blogs.


    I have never been allowed in a zoo and so would be nice if he could post a few blogs about the day to day life and what kind of things he gets up to.

    I'd like to do it again. Last time I did it it was more of a SPUKT Grand Final Special rather than a normal blog, so it'd be nice to rant about my normal day-to-day life :).

    Thanks to you and Greg (and people who have previously mentioned me) for nominating me but my life, both on and off the tables, is too mundane at present to provide enough material for a blog.

    I would certainly be interested to read a blog by you, though.

    I've posted on the forum a wee-bit but not necessarily enough to get noticed by anyone.

    I am a casual low stakes player who loves poker and can take it seriously for a month or so at a time when it suits :D
    I'm up to date on all the recent poker "celebrity" news and have wrote a few things for local football fanzines/letters to editor about politics, football and random stuff.

    I'm into loads of things and have a dry sense of humour.

    I'd like a blog spot but if not then  good luck to whoever gets it!

    Oh, I also did a series of blogs between my friends/poker friends from when we had live games.

    I analysed some play, replayed the banter and mentioned a few other things. It did get quite popular but I packed it in when my mam and dad got facebook and started reading the articals as they could jump into "adult" topics which i'll be sure to avoid on sky!!

    I'd love to see Blogs from HuFlungPu, Mr. Miyagi and Mere Novice. And at a push, that old soak Willhelm (even though I really shouldn't have started this sentence with the word 'and').

    I reckon Mr. Miyagi and Hu could be the 'Hinge & Bracket' of Poker (for younger forum readers, just YouTube it... Hinge & Bracket will give you nightmares... or at least make you Bi-curious).

    Come on Sky, let's make it happen.
