JJ Pre-Flop vs Manic - What Do You Do?

Couple of hands to give you an idea as to the villain's play. I had notes on the villain as being a manic, particularly agressive pre-flop, but they were taken quite a long time ago. He turned up to the table as chip leader and within a round he played 2 of these hands:

i raise all in here mate he may call you with KQ AK AQ but if he does its down to the poker gods im not putting him on AA KK OR QQ here because he is far too aggressive its either all in or fold certainly no calling lol

I just make a normal raise as I would with jacks pre flop. Hope he goes mental and shoves the lot in, then press call asap.

You have 68 BB's and also position, I would raise to 290 then see what happens. If he goes all in you have to call off almost 60 BB's hoping his at it, I would fold then, but if he just calls the raise you have position and go from there.

Make it like 4-500 and stack off happily against him :-)

For those that make a standard re-raise, what do you do if he calls pre and then donk bet shoves into you on a rainbow board with one over to our Jacks? Do you puke-fold or call considering he can clearly show up with nothing every now and then?

Have a look at the flop and assess from there. It is not worth your tournament on the jacks but if the flop comes down nice for you and he bets shove it in. If its not a good flop fold and you hopefully haven t wasted to many chips. This guy will not last the distance so wait until you have him covered and check call him all the way. You are not going to ever raise this guy off. Its early in the proceedings and you only pick up alot of chips near the end of things, but you ve got to make it there.

    Thanks for the comments all.

I just shipped it on him, he insta-called with KQ and I lost the race.

I shipped it on him for 2 reasons really. Firstly, I was always calling if he 5-bet shoved me PF, but I didn't know how I would proceed if he just called and I saw an over to the JJ (regardless of how he acted). I did know, though, that he was going to be calling me all-in super wide there. I saw him call a similarly sized all-in with KQ, so he'd also do it with KJ, KT, QJ, QT and almost any Ax hand, so I was confident that I could get in much better than a coin flip.
