This hand is from tonight’s tikay sleepstack. First blinds so no reads. Should I have played this hand any different given it is so early in a deep stacked tournament or is it pretty standard?

    Hi

I think that you could have just called the raise, and im not a fan of putting my whole stack at stake, so early on in a deepstack tourney, on a draw.
However, your opponent has probably put you on the draw, or a smaller pair, and got it right.
After he re-rasied you, what hand did you put him on?
Your re-raise will only get called by a few hands, ie AA, KK , QQ, or a set, but not another draw. In the end if your opponent did not have a big hand your move would have got through.

One final thought, another way to play it, in this structure, would have been to just call pre flop and then you may have got the odds to continue to chase your nut draw. IMO a bit to aggressive(but only my opinion)

I would also flat pre-flop, but having 3 bet I don't think that you can fold to the 4xbet of 340 into 1170 (I think.  I can't see the pot in your hand).  Once he has made his 4 bet he has a polarised range of high pairs, and if that's true he loves that dry(ish) flop.  Therefore I don't think I can make him fold by semi-bluffing.  I think you should just fold the flop as it is a big chunk of your stack and you can find a better spot.  Even though you are probably getting odds to call, although if you miss the turn your'e in a really sticky situation.  If you fold the flop and he shows 72, just type nh in the chat box and move on to the next hand with a playable stack.

I would just call preflop, but after you made good reraise when he makes it 620 I would just fold as it's getting too expensive. Plus If you hit your Q your in trouble and even your A could be dead against AK. On flop you can't get away just too big.

    This.

The small 4-bet from oppo meant monster.

Once you've called then you have to get it on that flop.

    Thanks for your comment.

This somes it up really, should have folded to the small 4 bet but after calling all my chips are going in on that flop.

    More discipline required pre flop.
