Just got back in - great updates gramps!! Keep it going Dan, unlucky with the str8 hand but he knows there is no need to gamble early Say good luck to Will as well Tikay - I know this thread is for dan mostly but it is nice to have Will mentioned also - a nice guy and a great player - Im hoping for a Dan and Will 1-2 finish!! You & me too, Dylan, agree totally, & yes, we'll follow Will in this, as well as Dan.
And just for Dylan, here is a list of the Welsh players here who are doing well;

I have a bunch of photos, & I'll upload them shortly. If I can find how to connect my camera to my (new) Lappie, kindly supplied this week by Atilla.
It's a cool lappie, but it is password protected to the nth degree - 6 Passwords actually. Attila showed me a "short-cut" for logging-on - a 138 step process - & I can get Online within 3 hours of firing up the Lappie on a good day.
Dave Colclough - he's Welsh by the way - has "not many". Dic k Lynch has 30,000. Posted by Tikay10
I really didn't know that!! Googled him and he was born in Carmarthen - same as me - What a small world and thanks gramps, I would never have known that!!
your certainly earning your money today Tikay, although most of us would love to swap jobs with you any day of the week. sounds like great event and will follow this thread cheering on Dan Pshows the flatulence holding up? Posted by MP33
Pass.
PS - Yes, I'm blessed, who would NOT want my job, eh?

Do you get to choose your successor? Can I take over for you when you FINALLY retire? lol.

So, you are saying you never believed me, right?
Like I'd bluff.
Which reminds me, thinking of you.
Dan forgot to bring a Sky Poker Shirt today, but luckily I had one in my car boot. It was Size L, but Dan took a deep breath & just about got in it. It's "snug".
DINNER-BREAK, 1 hour. I gotta go do those Interviews for 'Ling. Talk amongst yourselves, I'll be back as soon as poss. Posted by Tikay10

XL, or XXL? Posted by Tikay10
That is actually you being nice with those sizes - if you were being nasty you would have said XXXXL or XXXXXL normally lol!!
UL dan, it happens - could have been worse I guess - pick the right spots now innit
P.S I did believe you about Colclough and only googled it to see where in Wales he was from and was gobsmacked when it said Carmarthen!!
A most productive Dinner-Break. We bagged some great interviews, & they will start to appear on the Channel in the coming weeks.
We "did" Jake Cody, Matt Perrins, (those two won about a million between them), Craig McCorkell, Jeff Jaffa Cake Kimber, & Marc Mr Cool Goodwin. And excellent subjects they all were, too.
Not forgetting Dan, either. He's had a beer, & is in his comfort zone with 25 Bigs, but he told us if he shrinks to 17 or 18 "Dylans" (Bigs), then his chips will be in the middle at any worthwhile opportunity, as he is keen to return tomorrow with a playable stack.
Will Brewin is currently on about 13,000, after being as high as 28,000 or so at one stage.
He's not playing Online much right now, having a stint at Live, which he's enjoying muchly, but I fancy he'll be back online soon, I'm pretty sure of that.
He sends his best to all his good friends at Sky Poker. Whatever the future holds for Will, he'll always be special here.
The guy who damaged Dan with the odd call with K-T was Albert Sapiano. Had he been at Dan's Table when I clocked it, I could have warned Dan to be careful.
Albert is a bit of a legend. I've played £500 & £1,000 Events with him where he has not passed ONE hand pre-flop in the first 2 Levels. He rarely goes beyond Level 2.
He called because, as he explained to Dan after, "I always call if I have a King in my hand". He may as well abbreviated that to "I always call".
He is a honey importer - yes, Honey - & he is the UK's largest importer of honey, I believe. Things are awkward in the honey world these days, due to a worldwide bee problem. I'm serious, look it up.
Albert, though, is still a millionaire. Mind you, he used to be a multi-millionaire.

Just seen Paul ActionJack Jackson, something of a legend, him. A West Brom supporter, like Orford, if I'm not mistaken.
Announcement by the Casino, moments ago;
"Tonight's 8pm £100 Freezeout will start at 8pm".
So there.

Dan ACTION.
He finds Q-Q, & a Raise in front of him. He 3 bets, & gets called.
Flop is K high.
Dan c-bets, & is greeted with a snap call.
It then goes check-check twice, & they turn them over.
Dan - Q-Q, Matey Boy K-T.
Dan down to 10k ish.
Time to dig in.
Willie Tann is Busto. Out of the Comp, I mean. He's loitering by the Blackjack Tables.
Amazingly, there are only 102 runners left in. 5 Levels, & 40 players are toast, how does that happen?

Fasten your seat belts, turbulence is forecast.
News from tonight's £100 Freezeout, where they started with 7,500 chips.
Mike1975 had a bit of a cooler, running his flopped top two into a turned set, but The Boy Nuttall is up to about 10,000.

Heard at the Tables, in the Main Event.
"How you doing, mate?".
"If it were a Razz Tourney, I'd have the lot".
Now it all makes sense.......
