WTH Bounty Hunter explain please :)

guy goes all in me and anotyer guy go all in aswell

He has AQ and I have A6

the river is AK992

So we both have two pair aces and 9's King kicker

yet he wins the bounty ????

    hi drax if the other player has more chips than you b4 the hand in question is dealt, they take the bounty

    Because it's the best 5 cards that count sir, so he has AKQ99, which beats AK996.

    Unless I'm wrong of course...

    This rule in bounty hunters really really needs looking at dont you guys think?

    Its nonsense the bounty should be split like the pot is.

    Id love to say this is one of the reasons I never play them, but it doesnt even make the top 10.
