If you're televising old Five- O tournaments, presumably you've resolved the problem about the tournament ticker tape update coinciding with the card display on the screen?
If so, can we have lots of repeats of any old tournament from the very start of the channel please?
I'd be happy to watch them all again but I accept that I'm in a small, sad, minority.

Always nice to see the schedule experimenting.  I could never watch the 5-0s as I've been busy every Thursday since year dot.  Looking forward to checking them out

The ticker should be low enough that it doesn't effect the cards on screen. We are currently looking into getting more of the old shows including The Open out from July onwards. Unfortunately its not as easy as we would have hoped. We have to go through each show and cut out all the tournament breaks and put in new promos. This then get copied onto tape, quality checked, then sent over to our transmission department where they upload onto the system. To cut one tape can take a few hours, mixed in with the busy schedules we already have we are doing our best. So fingers crossed we will be able to keep up with demand and get some of the old shows out on the channel on a regular basis.

Yeah, great to see an old show this afternoon with Tikay and myself in 2008 (pre-diet). We both looked like right old porkers!

I took the opportunity in the office today to tentatively ask Sky Claire if showing old repeats meant repeat fees for the presenters.

I was encouraged by her very emphatic answer which suggested I might be getting TWO repeat fees.

Well that's what two fingers mean, don't they? I do hope I haven't mis-read the situation there...

I can recommend The Open from Saturday 11th April 2009.

Michelle was looking particularly fine.....oh....and a miracle happened on a par with the loaves and fishes!! ;-)

and yes, I am that sad
