Hi Guys,

This is your chance to tell us what you like and what you don't like on The Club.


Feel free to post your ultimate wish-list, and we'll do our best to try and incorporate some of your ideas into the forthcoming shows....

Should penguin get a girlfriend?

    i would like to see more interviews with poker pro's, i like the upbeat side of poker the guys show, its a fun show to watch so more of the same with the banter. Oh i would like to see Dan fall over, just the once..... give Matt something to laugh at him about for once.

    Lots more of Liv Boeree please - you could get her to stand in for Matt or Dan when they are off :)

    I like the idea of a live team tourny with Dan and Matt + 4 regular contributers(one being me of course).
    Ithink the only time we'll less of Matt is when he has the liposuction op.

    I think the mini live events would get a lot of interest, the one that was played already looked a lot of fun and would be a nice way for some members that have never played live (like me) to wet their feet.

    That Barry Carter bloke was a good guest.

    But actually, more pros and more people with interesting poker stories (like people who make poker tables, the guys that filmed the devilfish show etc etc)

    How about a few more competitions, give the newbies like me a chance to win a few books that might even help us win a game now and again.





    P.S. In light of Ed Giddens and DP Fitzgerald moving in together, i would like to congratulate Dan and Matt on their openness and for being an inspiration for others to take that leap to find happiness.........

    please please please make a new trailer.....

    no more "mandy in nottingham with her big pair" - its just overkill,
    have seen and heard some realy funny stuff on the club im sure somebody in VT can put together something new
    Oh yes when is John Tabatabai coming back to do more hand reviews, was promised but never came to anything, an impartial view over how some of the people play on sky is refreshing.

    I liked watching the mini tourn you guys did several months back, playing against 6 or so other players from the sky community... and especially ending the show with a classic picture on the wall of Mr.Pace...!

    I think penguin may be dead - I saw a rerun of the Club last night at 12.30 and that fall at the end looked nasty :(

    Can we have confirmation of the condition of penguin ASAP please?

    I can confirm that Penguin, despite his badbeat by the table, is fired up and raring to go. He is taking his bootcamp training to the next level and has upped surveillance on Matt and Dan in order to provide his recruits with the most intimate of information.... It's a tough life but Penguin is ready and willing to take one for the team ;-)

    Im not sure I want intimate information on Matt and Dan - Im all for diversity but their man love is just too much for me!

    Can the club be put on the website to watch "on demand" so I can watch it whilst playing?

    And regarding your original post, Penguin already has a girlfriend, albeit an invisible one.

    I would like to see better review of hands. They showed two of my hands tonight and all I got was critisim. In the first hand I went all in due to being very low stacked in the bounty hunter after someone raised on the button while I was the big blind which can be seen as him just trying to steal the blinds. My hand was not great but like I said short stacked with the blinds about to go up and not caching many hands this was my chance. They critised this move while failing to say why I justfied the move which I did write in the forum. Also I can't just call this as he was much bigger stacked than me and if he was to bet after the flop I would had to fold leaving more short stacked. You could see by watching the hand I was short stacked so you have got to take more risks. Plus in the end I was correct with my hand being only slighly stronger than his yet again this was failed to be mentioned. The second hand yes I would never play it like I did if it was a normal tournament but with it being the bounty hunter it seemed to me like he was trying to just steal the bounty as the person all in was never going to have a good hand with only 150 chips left. This again was failed to be mentioned which again I wrote on the forum. They made me out as just like an idiot who does not have a clue what I am doing yet I believe I am very decent at poker and I have won quite a bit of money playing it on other sites. I undertand what they was saying about this second hand but they "failed" to tell my side of the story as then you could have understood the reasons for the play.

    Whats the point asking for a review of your hand if they aren't going to give your own reasons first before they giving their opinion. You just get made to look like an idiot then which I was not very impressed with whats so ever!
