I stayed in the Premier Inn last year, which is literally 30 seconds walk away from the Casino.

    Travelodge Hotels
    Princess Way
    SWANSEA, SA1 3LW
    08719846326

is a minute's walk away from Aspers, and the Sky peeps will be there. Not expensive, and preferable to the Glasgow colditz!!

Premier Inn is a minute walk away aswell. I wouldnt stay at any oystermouth road bnbs, its not far away (5-10min walk) but the premier inn and travel lodge are much closer, and probably nicer.

Done some homework.  Travelodge or Premier Inn close to Casino will each cost c£120 for 2 nights, plus parking at £8 per day totals £136.  Premier Inn (Swansea North) approx 4 miles from Casino costs £80 for 2 nights, taxi c£10 each way, so total cost is £120 (with 4 trips).  Could be reduced if taxi is shared.  Haven't booked yet, interested in feedback.
Somebody must have moved Swansea, I thought it was c200 mile drive for me, it's actually nearer to 250!

I had a look and found out just about the same as you Dollie.  I'm about to book a hotel whether I am in the main event or not.  I also think it's another £7 for breakfast for each morning at the Travelodge.  Looks like I'll be booking there as it's where all the Sky bods are staying and I'd rather be a 2 minute walk than have a taxi ride each way to save all the trouble.

As said there is the Premier Inn and the Travellodge nearby, but if you fancy somewhere a little more up market there is a nice hotel called the Dragon Hotel, its only a 2 or 3 min walk. I stayed there last year for APAT's welsh Champs, has its own carpark and buffet breaky, if its a similar price to travellodge and the premier then would deffo be worth a look.

the casino is on the main street of all the bars in swansea, the wetherspoons are open early for breakfast.
If you want an upmarket hotel near the casino, morgans hotel is within view of it,  The premier inn in north swansea is the one by asda i think, only a 5 minute taxi ride away if its not rush hour. The travel lodge is literally about 20metres away
