How to cope when the red eyed monster attacks!!!

Well I don't often get angry when playing poker because It's all fun for me and i just luv playing, but what do you do when you do sometimes feel your blood starting to boil and the angry monster is screaming to jump out of you and demolish every player on the table??!!!!!

Lines maybe?

I will NOT be tempted to throw my shiny new laptop out the window,
I will NOT be tempted to throw my shiny new laptop out the window,

...well maybe that will work...we will see!!!

How do you calm yourself down without walking away from the table if you are in the middle of a game, any bright ideas?

    I am currently taking some HiLo therapy after tonight's Primo and Dantb fiasco's....... and I'm 2BI's up but have run out of customers.

    I order a beef chow mein and a special fried rice.

    As soon as my 3rd barrell gets called, and my 3 high is exposed (ive already clicked stand) im similtaniously dialing the chinese house, and slamming the laptop shut

    if i'm in the middle of a game then i kick the cat (stuffed furry type)!!
    if i'm out i go to the xbox and kill a bunch of orcs etc.

     I must admit their is not a lot gets me angry on a poker table, bad beats are not a problem they happen. The only thing that does get me is being out played. For example in the early hours of Sunday morning I was in the last 4 of a BH in second place the 4th place was already all-in and me and the big stack called. I flopped the top pair with a weak kicker and checked to the big stack he raised so I re-raised then he re-re-raised so I put it down only to find he had only ace high!
     The next 2 hands I went all-in both with rag aces as much as to say dont push me around! Anyway I used my knowledge I gained from is play to trap him a few hands later and went on to win it! How does the saying go dont get mad get even. :)

    ok, I've been up early, kids to school and back, cleaned, done 3 dog walks with 4 hypo dogs, and am now cooking a roast dinner as we never have time on a Sunday.....so now maybe I'll be too knackered to let anything bother me! Turning my brain into zombie poker playing mode may help! hahahaha

    That was actually the 2nd time when it happened! The lap top I borrowed for the 3rd one has seen better days now as well :) ) ) )

    I don't tend to get angry at poker, but I did just lose twice with AA pre-flop in the space of three hands.
    First one, I've raised 3x pre, bet flop, all in turn with one guy callling:
    Flop
    4 5 J
    Turn
    Q

    I turn over AA, he shows A4
    River
    4

    Second one AA v KJ, he hit K on flop and river.
    Anger management techniques would be appreciated ;)
