The cowboys have to go in the bin at this point.  It may or may not be a set you're up against, but you're losing to too much by the turn.  On first reading I fancied the villain had AQ clubs, but we've got 22, 88 and the other AQ hands against us.  The only hands you are beating are some LAG-styled JT clubs & T9 clubs IMO and we're not massively ahead of these either.  His turn bet is begging to be called, don't get suckered in, find a better spot.

If the turn isn't an ace and is an offsuit 3 what do people think though?

on offsooot 3 i stack off take notes and call him alot of bad names quite loudly

on another point, do you always open to 5x in the cut off? sems really huge and makes your steal attempts very high risk

Was a strange hand this, maybe being too hasty, but I was really putting him on 22 or 88 when he plays fflop like that, but I still call his raise for some reason, and wasnt really planning putting anymore into it.
I would like to think I would lay it down if an off suit 3 came, but in the heat of battle, I`m not sure I could.
Anyway, if he plays it different, I prob stack off on flop.

as played on the flop i'm goin busto on the turn to a blank

although if you have no reads villain plays his A high fds (which is all you beat) like that i would fold to the flop 3 bet. I rarely think at this level villain will 3 bet that flop with a fd after you show strength. Cant see any obvious fd&sd combo he would have so i think with the 3bet u have to give credit for being beat and find a better spot

easy fold once the ace drops as there then becomes too many hands that got you crushed but if a blank comes it would be a world class play to fold, persoally im prob four betting the flop as im putting him on aq, maybe a loose player kq but with the size of your pre flop raise i dont think kq calls! i think its too big  a raise pre flop at the end of the day its hands like these which you need to be paid off by some donkey with nothing but he they aint gonna come along and pay you off for 5x bb blind raise. youve been incredibly unlicky here and 81% of the time your good but because of the size of the raise pre flop and his lead out and then 3 bet flop u gotta put him on 22, 88 or aq!! once the ace comes thho im getting away from it!
