The reason that the odds are less than 1/17*1/17*1/17 is that you have to divide the odds by the number of ways of choosing 3 hands from 6 players, i.e. any three of the six players might get the pocket pairs.
So, I reckon the probability is 1/17*1/17*1/17 * 20 which is roughly 250/1.
Apologies for not being clearer earlier, I'm pre-occupied because I'm enjoying Balboa's company on the poker tables where I'm fishing for England. No change there, then!
Lisa-Marie can you please inform Tikay that the services at the junction between the M5 and the M50 is Strensham. Ross is at the other end of the M50 I believe!

Just to let Tikay & LML know that the above post is no way a critism, just an observation. I was railing Digsy in that DS sat so the show was being discussed in the chat box at the time and at first we were a bit perplexed but figured it out in the end.

OMG Alan how could you LAUGH at Lisa-Marie making a slip up and referring to an email DIGGERMAN sent in on the show earlier in the evening? HOW COULD YOU? And to make it worse Tikay then went on to refer to a studio guest who earlier said "Outer He-Brides" Guest? What guest? There was no guest? Top of the Pots is a one hour show, how could anyone possibly email in or be a studio guest? I demand answers. Shoot the lot of them.
