Do Bad Losers Put You Off Playing

I have just experienced how some people are unable to lose gracefully and i really cannot be annoyed with prople who think it is ok to criticise the way I play and then insult me with foul insults.

Any opinions?

    If I get abuse for beating someone I take as compliment and always remember to say TY! Which in most cases ends up with them paying me more "compliments!" LOL

    I think we should copy and paste any instances of abuse on this thread and by doing so name and shame the culprits.

    This is the third forum about this in the last few days, so obviously becoming a bit of an issue.
    If it insulted or upset you, report it to customer service and hopefully they will do something about it

    Report the abuse to Customer Services via Online Chat and they will take the necessary action.
    It is definitely not OK for people to abuse you no matter what the circumstances.

    When it happens next time and I have no doubt there will be a next time I will try customer services, I witnessed it again tonight while playing although i was not involved and the player on the receiving end did not respond. I would turn off chat but i dont see why i should because the majority of players on Sky are very nice people who just enjoy the game whatever happens.

    I FIND THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE ABUSE IS TO IGNORE IT, AND DON'T REPLY TO IT, THAT'S WHAT THEY EXPECT YOU TO DO.

    I find bad winners more off putting.You raise with good cards aces or kings they go all in over the top with rags 6 3 or 2 3 o/s.They win and all you get is a lot of abuse about how they have donked you and how bad you are.At least if you get abuse when you are winning you are still winning.

    Bad losers amuse me and I can understand their ire.

    Bad winners would get a flying head-butt if I could though.

    Bad losers are a godsend to regular poker players.
    1. They have just lost and so you have got their money/chips
    2. They are inclined to play more because they have an over-inflated opinion of their poker ability

    Bad winners are more irritating but the same applies. They certainly have an over-inflated opinion of their ability and you, or someone else, will get their cash/chips. Just because you didn't "land" this fish isn't a reason to despair - you will catch your fair share, Someone else will profit from this one but you will get your share of the others that are available.

    My favourite line from a bad winner happened when I played a very poor player who I had position on in an STT. He limped regularly from early position and after I raised, he folded. Finally he limped with 33, I put him all in with 66 and he called. He spiked a 3 and typed in the chat box "some people never learn"!
    You can only smile at the lack of self-awareness in that post.

    No, they make me laugh and if anything the win becomes slightly more enjoyable.

    Bad loser = Useless player

    Very rare you hear a good player moan.....Simples !!

    Bad losers dont put me of at all, its them losing and if they take it badly its their problem not yours

    Just ignore, i have berated players in the past but mainly to get a reaction or put someone on tilt. dont take it personally and dont let it affect your game after all its one persons opinion, although in your case maybe a few by the sounds of it just laugh with them eg. yeah i got lucky, or gg them should stop it
