Pleased to see the new £1k freeroll announced which will cater for those who acrue 300 points this month - and Sky are to be applauded for this.
It seems that the suits are taking note of some of the threads on here about how worthless points are to the micro player - especially now the decent freezeout freerolls have all but disappeared.
Still, the fact remains that as a micro, mostly MTT and SnG player 300 points still takes some getting.
Why not just let players accrue their points over time without taking them back to nil every month?
Earning 500 points however long it takes should be rewarded.
Obviously players would need to opt in to this method or else the high rollers might get pretty fed up with £5 hitting their account every other day (!!!!!!)
The answer may be to accrue your points and then decide when you apply for the bonus......bit like cashing in your green shield stamps.....I'm currently saving for a 34 bit drill set.
