I snap fold the hand against any other player on the table, but this guy was calling in position everytime some1 2 his right raised it up, and would always try to take it away on the flop or put you to the test!
I fully expected him to do the same here and knew id shove if he made the same play again!
Table dynamics can be a pain in the ar se at times!!! lol.
Just to rub salt, it was the case 8, as i saw the guy to my left fold A8 pre flop when he tossed his cards!!
Oh well, thanks for all the support i have received it really does give you a boost when you know people are behind you.
Lets push sue and mandy over the line and then rail them all to the cash, they fully deserve it and are a credit to sky poker!!
Great post Dan. As many have said, you're a credit to Sky Poker. Not your time, this year at the WSOP but I'm sure that there are many great results to come for you.
Desperately unlucky Dan. You have done yourself and everyone at Sky proud, a true gent you are...Head up and see you in Swansea.. GB.. Posted by GliterBabe
Big +1
I have to echo these words! You're a star, Dan, and it's been great following your journey!
In Response to Re: WSOP, Day 2B Live Update - Dan & Sue. : Nice pics tikay. The Simpsons guy does the voices of Apu, Chief Wiggum, Moe and a few others. It's definitely the guy. Re the blurry pics, if you're using a Samsung ST60/ST61 try increasing the ISO, since you aren't using the flash ISO 400 isn't quick enough try 800. Take some trial photo's of Claire, one pic of Claire for the whole visit isn't enough. ;-) Posted by Machka
Yes, it's a Samsung ST61. Where would I find the ISO knob, then?
Dan Despite never having posted before, you have moved me to write.
I have watched sky poker for last 3 years and played occasionally on the site over last 2 years. However, I watched the whole of total player and you were more than a deserving winner.
From what I hear of the hand, you played both the cards and the player perfectly - luck was against you and there is nothing that can be done about that.
The fact that you were prepared to comment on the hand tonight proves what a gentleman and great player you are - I would have been pulling what little of my hair is remaining out for hours and talking to no-one - this is why you are a winner and will continue to be so.
You are only disappointed because your expectations are rightly high - keep them there and you will fulfill them in time

Playing 61,000, she found Aces, & met with resistance. Matey Boy (playing 120,000) enquired how many chips Sue had behind. Incrementally, all the chips found their way into the middle pre-flop.
Matey-Boy's A-K was all locked up, next case.
At the 90 minute dinner-break (just commenced), Sue has motored on a tad further, & is now cruising along on 132,000.

At the current break........
