BIG thanks to Loony for getting the thread started. I just read the tail-end of yesterday's Thread (we went to bed as most of you were getting up!), & it must be THE greatest thread ever on Sky Poker Community - because it was ours, all of us built it. And then Sue posted, after play ended, & I was welling up just reading it. Thanks, also, to MereGeek, Dylan, & all the others who have Posted the facts & figures, Table Draw, Payout Structure, da de da, this really is a Team Effort, & I can't tell you how proud I am to be part of it. Big up to Claire, too, she is a real workhorse, & the way she worked yesterday to get the info after we lost our Media Access was amazing. I'm hoping - fingers crossed - that our Media Access wll be restored today, but whatever happens, somehow we'll work out a way to get you the info, as it happens. And, knowing Claire, she'll book more Interviews with poker celebs & faces, & I'll nab a few via my contacts, too. We have arranged to interview Sue before play, as per usual, at 11am, & Claire will get it uploaded sharpish, as usual. PS - Claire has just arrived in the Media Centre - she has a streaming cold & a high temperature, so go easy on her today!

i think we all need to thank tikay and claire so much as they have worked so hard since they've been out there. 14 hours yesterday with no food etc, the passion they have for the sky community is second to none, wouldn't be the same without them.  and as avid poker players, i bet they would love to be playing in the main event. must be so hard.

keep it up guys all the best ,,    jp

In Response to Re: WSOP Liive Update - One Goes Into Five! : Eat 15 oranges to get your Vit C up, take 6 paracetamol (that should last the day) and drink a some Honey & Lemon to keep the voicebox well oiled and you'll be fine. We need you on top form Tikay!

The Sue interview has been done, & Claire seems to have resolved her Lappie problems. She shouted at her Lappie. Loudly.

So the Upload will be quite soon.

However, it must be noted, the suggestion that I interview Claire went down like a lead balloon......

One by one, we are sorting the tech issues this end. The BIG remaining question is whether we'll have "inside the ropes" Media Access. That will make a huge difference, either way. But nothing will spoil today's fun.

Keep an eye out today for a guy called Johnny Lodden. He's a bit special, & has a truly amazing playing style.

I really must try & write some more Bloggy stuff. I'd love to write the tale of Johnny Lodden, me, an illegal Poker Tournament in Bergen (Norway), a police raid, 20 armoured police vans, the King & Queen of Norway, & a Saga Cruise Liner. I mean, really, you can't make that sort of stuff up.

At one time, Johnny held the record for the biggest ever Online Pot - which he lost......!
