Did I play this wrong

The callers on this hand were trying to limp most pot with weak Ax and worse, one is a real station so did expect a call. The table was a little passive so every hand I played were the rest had limped in I raised and must say was by far the most aggressive player on the table so did expect some action but had been pushing them off hands with zero so the play seemed good.

I pushed on the flop trying to rep a bluff as I was sure I was ahead... which I was with at least one station behind. The question is knowing I had a station behind me should I have played slower giving me an option to dump the hand if I felt I was beat such as another spade as my flush was weak?

you got the money in ahead, even if they had a better flush draw you played it fine.

If you won you played it right, if you lost you played it wrong.

Hindsight is great but its after the fact so we learn from our mistake with your theory beaneh I have to say I played it wrong, we have all had AA busted with a preflop all in so we played it wrong with your theory. I was looking for more constuctive comments but many thanks for your post.

he is sarcastically refering to the fact that if you had won the pot you would most likely have gone "yay moneys" and never created this thread

someone has open shoved the flop all in, you are never EVER bluffing by calling the shove, and nobody would think you are bluffing either.

Someone has gone all in - so why would you be trying to bluff if that person cannot fold?

You got your money in infront - why would you think you must have played it wrong? If you're after constructive advice why don't you post a hand where you have a proper decision to make rather than flopping a flush then whinging about getting sucked out on.

Can I point out I was not whinging about the suck on the river in poker you have to accept it like us all I have also won hands by sucking out. After the hand was over my thought was I got my chips in ahead and could do no more, it was only later that I began to think did I over play a weak flush and doubted my play.

I will rephrase my question was the shove on the river a good move or not regardless of the end result??
