The fastest place I have found for news is the WSOP's own site http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/updates.asp That url gives news updates. Latest chip counts are the tab to the left. No need to retype them here. Posted by metaraptor
but its easier to keep track if people pos tspecific lolufold updates here rather than having to go through pages of updates on the wsop page.
It's quiet in here. Very, very quiet. We imagine that the pressure of what these players can potentially accomplish is keeping their lips zipped for now. Winning a few early pots helps to relieve that tension. John Racener has his first chips. He opened to 275,000 from early position and was called by Michiel Sijpkens. Sijpkens check-folded to a bet of 385,000 on a coordinated flop of www.wsop.com/images/cards/8s.gif" border="0" alt="" />www.wsop.com/images/cards/jd.gif" border="0" alt="" />www.wsop.com/images/cards/9s.gif" border="0" alt="" />.
By the way, if our information is accurate, Sijpkens could become the youngest Main Event champion ever if he were to go the distance from here. He would eclipse the mark -- set just last year by Joe Cada -- by approximately five months.
Does anyone know roughly how many hands per hour they are playing? Redmond will be coming back with just over 16 Bigs but I don't knw whether that will be comfortable for the next 2 hours. Still ... lets hop he gets a monster so that he doesn't need to shove riskily.
We're back with Level 31, and it's awfully exciting. The beige/almond T250,000 chips have been colored into play, so we now have four chip denominations on the tables.
The blinds are 80,000/160,000 with a running ante of 20,000, and the cards are in the air.
