haha donkament at its finest, was great turnout shame my all in with queens got called by jacks by a donk and they hit the jack on the river otherwise reckon i would of done well. btw their not a donk for calling all in with jacks its there plays before, they run very good glad they didn't win
I finished 9th so Richard Orford must have had way more luck than me. Come to think of it, it was him that knocked me out!!!!!!.
Well Done to Dylan for taking it down and a BIG Shout Out to all the railers, including that Gregdonk who forgot he had even registered for the tourny until after he had been chipped out. LOL.
Trev, he done that friday aswell and was on 2 of my MTT tables. i wasn't sure whether its connection problems? or he just registered and forgot , went out its a mystery
+ i keep looking like a plank when i keep saying hi to him in chat eitehr to be told or notice he is away lol
Yes great tournament and yes i suppose luck over skill is true gramps which is strange cos I am unlucky and can not play poker therefore your little lever helped immensly in gaining this victory - ty m8
Vince, I did use jam until I got hungry and therefore engaged in a game of fold and show with Mr Orford - he played well and it could have gone either way HU - but as the saying says in my Profile - Pocket 2's never lose
To alan and tony - wd on ft placings Shame those players DC'd - another lucky factor for us i think The rail was immense - led by the Hoggmeister, loved the chat going on, just pure banter - as it should be
Boonicon - I got lucky once, back to usual today no doubt lol
This was my first mtt win in a while now and it was great to get back to winning ways Long my these tournament structures continue - especially when Tikay bubbles the money - wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!
'twas the most enjoyable online poker game I'd played in ages. Just loved it. Fantastic rail as well.
Think I had one chance to nick it heads up- raised with A4 got re-popped by Dylan who out-chipped me 2-1 and, after going in the tank for ages, I folded.
My only other option was to re-shove all-in.
Yes, it was too tight, but we'd been playing a game of fold and show and we'd both been pushing with strong hands. So I had a sneaky feeling I was outkicked and I still had enough chips back at that stage to let it go..
But when Dyl showed K-10, I knew I'd made a mistake.
That said, he was a huge chipleader right from the get-go on the final table and deserved the win.
