Right thought i would start a central thread for the infamous Don, mainly cos i keep stumbling accross all his threads and hands in other peoples thread so Don please post here, people will give you advice also if you want to put a bad beat, brag whatever here please mate
your welcome don its was really for mutual enjoyment, eg. this way people can come on here and give you advice plus it saves seeing a dozen threads which you have started :P it is all lighthearted though
So people treat this like Ask Tikay, Irishrover but instead please pop in and offer advice on the hands or posts made by Don90 and don doesn't mean you cant post elsewhere just an idea here
Now heres an interesting one in my opionion. Now in the end i made the call.
However was it the correct one i shall not say. The opponent has a been a little bizzare with his play, i think im ahead and he either has overs - AK or a small PP, i do not believe he has hit the board.
What do people think of this situation

OK i won this hand but how do you guys think i played it.
preflop should be re-raising more 10p not really going to do much 16p at least. i wouldn't bet out on the flop maybe check call if you think your good, athought good bet sizing on the flop. on the turn again would have check called, on the river defo fold, your behind so many hands and if you have him on pp he could have hit the way he has played this
First hand you made the right call after raising the flop..... I think he probably had something like pocket 5's? Or ace 5? I wouldn't bother raising ace 6 pre tho just fold it - stick to the best hands. Posted by DOHHHHHHH
KJ hand is fine, could maybe raise 1 or 2 bbs more preflop, apart from that wp Posted by LOL_RAISE
Thanks mate, everyone seems to agree im improving from some of the feedback im getting.
So heres one hand i hate in cash AK suited. Now i make a strong continuation not realising the size of opponents stacks. Ive not really fgot any reads only third hand since i sat down. I know i cant fold to the 8p but what do you guys think. I now i sucked out here.

Edit: DoHHH requested i show how my session ended. In profit busting two people. Two critical hands below. One pretty standard, one just a correct call i had my opponent down on a set, but it just didnt feel right, until i realiesed the potential busted flush draw and called.
with AKcc in a heads up pot id just shove flop but as its 3way i think c/f is best as the board is just so co ordinated you will hardly ever get folds.
i think the last hand with A6o is a fold on the river unless you have reads he's far more likely to shove flop than river with a flush draw and most Ax hands are just calling river for a chop. although it is nice to know that they dont always have the nuts
Have just looked at quite a few of your hands don and it is very clear that your preflop raising size is very formulaic and predictable. The size of your raise is dependant solely on the strength of your own hand and takes into account no other factors. This is something you need to be very careful of because you are too easily defining your hand for the other players.
There are several ways of altering this to hide your holdings. One is to always raise the same amount regardless of your hands strength and the other is to raise totally random amounts and vary the raises with each hand, and play them differently each time.
It is much easier to take down bigger pots when the opponent has no idea what you could be holding.Hope this helps in some way

Thanks Talon, ive been doing alot more of this today, worked well for a while and then crumbled. However that was just simply 3 bad hands and nothing i felt i done wrong.
Not poorly played mate but.... Raise more pre, remember to mix up how much your betting pre flop raise 3/4 pot flop raise 3/4 pot turn or maybe even shove in this spot if enough in
Defo raise more pre as you OOP, flop bets ok as your well ahead and just want to build the pot, good pot bet on turn and the donkey hands you his last quid.

This was a mix up bet sure flop was 3/4 and turn was a pot and got my opponent all in
flop was 1/2 pot bet turn fine actually as pot size by mix up i meant your preflop raises but played hand well just raise bit more pre 20-24 is good standard bet at 4nl Posted by YOUNG_GUN
Thanks mate.
Sure i watched you playing for a while with dohhhhhhh, was going to announce my presence but then i thought ill let them not know . Although i was trying to learn but the telle had something on and it kept distracting me.
