I'm out in 36th - sorry if you chose me

Thanks for being Tikay's substitute in my PTP competition, Rich.

I should really have asked your permission first, but I knew you'd be a good sport about it.  Much appreciated!

    We're at the second break.

    I'm 6th out of 18 players - with a stack of 28bbs.

darich is OUT in 36th. If he was your horse, you cannot win the competition. For those of you who predicted Hartigan would go further, here's the incomplete equation that will provide the answer to part 2 of tonight's competition... (24+19) - (36 - ??) = ??

    1. My head is full of loose change James. I know that E=MC2, and that a wee bit of Algebra never harmed anyone but this is beyond me. I hope you finish 22 places above Darich.

    2. Do I win £5?

Doesn't look like I'll get the chance to play PLO8 tonight.

This 'ToT' tournament is going on a bit!

    Sorry, folks.

Another week, another 'ToT' final table!

(The above is a statement of fact; not a brag.  Honest.)

It seems I'm destined to always finish second in the 'Take on Tikay' events!

Congratulations to GREGHOGG.  Very well played, sir.  He thoroughly deserved the victory, especially as he came back more than once from being a super short stack.

Anyway, we can now work out who's won the competition.

    darich finished 36th.  I finished 2nd.  That's a difference of 34.  So...

    (24+19) - (36-2) = 9

The closest to that number was kyle20 who guessed 8.  Well done, Kyle.  You'll be receiving a World Series of Poker card protector in the next few days.  Expect a PM on Monday from Sky_Claire.

hawk7112 - thanks for the tournament updates.  Just think, if you'd backed me, instead of Rich, you'd have been a winner :)

That's Hartigan done for tonight, fellas.  It's been fun.  I'll be on your television/computer screens tomorrow evening with Master Cash.

    Byeeeeeeee!

Next time i moan about running bad, please remind me about how hot i ran during this tourney!

When it looked all over i hit my miracle flop, not once, twice but at least three times!

Well played James, Swiper, Cookie and Max, and all who cashed!

Was great fun, and it feels so good to bink one onetime. Thanks to all the railers, Barry, Darich, Dave and co!

    Take on Hoggers ?

    I think not, innit!
