You probably have to fold as he has to have the 10 or a crazy bluff lol, also I'd just shove the turn.

see, I actually still wanted my customer then though... I was pretty confident I had the best hand. I figured that if he was on a draw, he couldn't call so he'd either fold to a reasonable bet or shove on me- the flat confused me a bit.

I'll reveal what he actually had later, interested to see how it's viewed since results always skew the play.

Hey Deuces, I'm not playing particularly well at the moment so I don't know how skewed my thinkng is but fwiw here's my view.

Early doors in an MTT there's so much he could be calling with here pre. With the flop c/c my initial thought would be that he's on some sort of draw (most likely flush) so I think if anything you probably should've played the turn stronger cos if we are ahead at this point then there's loads of hands out there that can outdraw us so I'm happy to take the pot here & now (I don't think Dudeskins idea of shoving turn is all the bad fwiw).

What sort of hands could villain have called us with PF? Well this early in a tourney I would think there's a wide range including hands like 910 (suited or not), J10, Q10, QJ, basically loads of drawing hands that when they hit they have the potential to take down big pots so calling the river shove is a real tricky decision.

What hands could he shove with here that we beat? Busted club flush draws, KJ, QJ, AJ, 33, & 88

What are we losing to: JJ, QQ, any 10 & of course AA/KK (although if they do have either it's certainly not how I'd play them!).

I hate to say it, but by this stage I think we're losing to more hands than we're beating & with a stack of 900 & blinds this low there's still plenty of time to recover. Reluctantly I think I'd be folding this 90% of the time (I say 90% cos I have awful tendencies to do really stupid things in the heat of the moment every now & then!)

so early in a donkment i prob would of limped along with them 99s for sure.

on the turn i would of made it around 800~ i think they are calling 800~ just as much as they are with 500.

river is thin, i would prob call J10/Q10 only hands that make sense that beat you by the way they played it.
