ok 2 hands in a row at the casino last nite cost me over £200.
1st hand i held pocket 5's called a raise off £7 3 pllayers.
Flop , 5,3,j
Player1 bets £10, players 2 raises to £30 i shove for £117 player 1 fold player 2 calls.
turn 8, river, k player 2 turns over pocket kings. This is just bad luck right?
2nd hand i held A,Qo limped utg then called a raise off £9. 4 players
Flop A,9,9. checked around the raisers who bets £24 again i shove for my stacked around £120
everybody folds accept the guy who raises who makes the call to show Q,J
turn 3, river j.
Again can i get off this or just another bad hand.
Looking for any advice on these hands really.

First hand I would just flat call on the flop, if it was rainbow. Your hand looks super super strong here, you def gave the KK the signal to fold.
why would you want to fold if you keep getting your money in as a 9/1 favorite or better
sorry the flp was Q,9,9 not A,9,9
Just unlucky both times you have put money in when ahead, couple of bad beats what can you do
Well played on both here imo due to when the money went in you were at least 70/30 fave in both
Dont like the pre call with 5s, just because alot of the time your going to miss your 5 and would be wasting chips but hand standard play from there just unlucky
Dont mind the call with AQ pre, altho on that flop bit risky to shove in but again you were lucky to be ahead and then very unlucky to get outdrawn
