Guys, Some help please. Im in Vegas next Thursday to Monday. Any advice where to play? Looking for a$150-200 tournament or good sit and go. This is of course is if I can drag myself out of bed after being out the night before. Johnny Posted by JohnnyF
Hi Johnny
If your going to Vegas, I'd advise not to min raise UTG and shuv against the bb re-raise with KJ when the bb has not played a hand in 20 mins (primo last week, lol)
Poker-wise, Vegas is pretty quiet at this time of year, but in the price range you suggest, you cannot beat Caesars Palace or The Venetian. They have daily tourneys in that price range at 9am, Noon, 4pm, 7pm, & 10pm.
Beware though, at the "take out". On average, Vegas Casino Tourneys are "raked" at about 20%. Oucho! The Website the previous player linked you to gives that info for all Vegas CardRooms.
Ive been to Vegas twice and mostly played cash, i played a few tounrys but they were very fast paced, as Tikay posted the times they get one finished and start another in that time period. Have a look around most card rooms advrtise them. I ended up in Mandalay Bay most times playin g cash, plenty of dead money if you can catch them at the right time
