SPT Grand Final - September.

Amazingly, within 24 hours of appearing in the Lobby, 38 runners registered already, for this slow-clock, 10,000 chip beauty.

Satellites run daily, with 1 in 10 Semi-Finals on Saturday priced at £24.

The structure of the Nottingham Event is awesome, & the Venue is arguably the best cardroom in Europe, if not the world.

Here's the first 38 names - a positive who's who of Sky Poker already. I fully expect most of the Team Sky Poker Vegas 2010 members to be there, too, plus a few Pros from the circuit, too. As soon as I know what Presenters & Analysts will be there, I'll let you know. But you gotta be in it to win it......

    How many seats are there?

    At this rate they could all have been bought before those will lower bankrolls can satellite?

    It says 200 atm, thou I thought it was 250? i expect they are keepin seats bk 4 presenters/analysts, celeb guests, live sats etc etc.

    Anyway, its been up in d lobby what, 2 or 3 days, wiv 43 reg as I type. so at this rate, it would take 10 days or so to fill (althou with alot of big names already in I expect this rate 2 drop) how many semi's are u planning to play??!!

    No idea, but I would have thought they may have run sats for a few weeks and then opened it up to direct buy-ins. We're not all loaded and there are many people who can not afford to stump up £220

    Apologies to sound negative, I don't intend to - just a wee bit concerned that if 200 people happen to rush to enter with 200 pounds, the rest of us will not get a chance.

    Don't worry Rich. They have massive capacity, & if need be, the Cap can be raised.
     
    There is always an early rush for Seats, then a lull, then a last minute scramble.

    I'll be amazed if there are not still plenty of seats available come early September, though once it gets to 7 days & counting, they will go fast. That's my view, anyway.

    Good spot - no, it is NOT a 15 minute lock!

    I think - not 100% certain - that the Clock will be 45 minutes. It's almost identical to the structure in the monthly £300 Deepstack that DTD hold there every month.

    It is designed as a 2 day Tourney, in which the Final is reached early evening on Day Two, with conclusion late evening on Day Two.

    No idea, Wayne, but I'll ask.

    The SPT Microsite should be updated shortly to reflect everything, but the decision to realese the Grand Final Sats & Seats this week was a bit too quick for all the different parts of the organisation to get all their little soldiers lined up correctly.
