    To Brownndog & Hitman.

    Plan B. I have today been invited to attend by the organisers of the British Poker Awards, so I will indeed be there.

    Which means that as well as Hitman & Monkey, Brownndog will have to be there, as he said if I go, he'll go.....

    PS - Mr Brownndog - why do you have a double "n" in your name, please?

    PPS - Mr Brownndog - will you be playing this Saturday evenings £1,000 Sit Down Televised "BIG GAME"? I hope so, I SO love commentating on your creative play......and, to be fair, that game "owes you", after those two cruel flips went the wrong way in the previous BIG GAME.

    KING FORUM V

    'Once more unto the breach, dear FORUM friends, once more;
    Or close the wall up with our dead HANDS.
    In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
    As modest stillness and humility:
    But when the blast of POKER blows in our ears,
    Then imitate the action of the tiger;
    ALL IN, summon up the blood,

    Now set the teeth and streach the nostril wide,
    Hold hard the breath and blend up every spirit to its full height.
    On, on you noblest FORUMISTS.
    Whose blood is fet from fathers who be BLUFF-PROOF

    And teach them how to RAISE
    And you good FORUM PEOPLE
    Whose LIMPS were made in England,
    Show us here the mettle of your GAME, let us RE-RAISE

    Straining upon the DEAL.
    The GAMES afoot
    Follow your spirit, and upon this FLOP..

    CRY

          'GOD FOR 'THE FORUM', 'SKY POKER', and SAINT TIKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!'

    :)

    I intended to stay in Nottingham, If I do in fact attend SPT Nottingham, on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night so I will have to look at travelling straight from Nottingham to London on the Monday morning. I would love to go to this, so I shall do my best to attend. Are you going to add the value to the £50 freezout afterwards? ;)

    lol When I signed up the alias 'browndog' with one 'n' was taken, so rather than think of an entirely new alias, lazy I know, I just added another 'n'. I haven't met the 'original' 'browndog' on sky as of yet. That would be an interesting encounter...

    I would LOVE to play in the big game on Saturday, however, I may be out that evening. If, however, I am in I WILL play. Yes I deserve a "run good" session after last time I think!

    I am a little embarrassed about this, so have not commented until now, but I'd just like to say "thank you". Also.....not to sound churlish, but if you Vote for anyone, PLEASE only Vote once. Imagine being disqualified because the voting was rigged, or improper - I think I'd die of shame. You really are all very kind, thank you.

    It's no contest anyway.  Sky Forum is far and away the best forum in poker circles.  It has informative, knowledgable and intelligent (in the main!) contributors, all willing to help anyone with a query, no matter how trivial or complex it may be - and it's all done in a friendly, good-humoured fashion.

    As far as Mr Kendall is concerned, recognition of some sort is long overdue.  After many, many, many years in poker, he shares his vast wealth of experience and knowledge openly and altruistically, aiming genuinely to further any players understanding of the game.  Above all, though, he does this with no hint of 'side' (as our US friends would call it) and always with a kind, avuncular style that displays a personality and character that only ever wants to help others.  At the risk of embarrassing you further, Tikay, you deserve the respect of every poker player, professional or amateur, that has ever thrown a chip over the line.

    In my opinion, you're a great ambassador for this game and a darn fine bloke to boot!!!
