SPT qualifers being cancelled

I want to bring to attention the issue regarding spt qualifiers today (04/08/2010). 2 tournaments have been cancelled today without being started, sky poker have told me that this was because not enough people had entered. The 2nd tournie at 14.35 had 6 people in with prize pool of £14.40. Now as this is a rebuy tounament you would expect this to go over the £24 mark for a seat. But you wont play this tournament without 12 people playing, at least (sky pokers words). This seems absurd because it might as well be a freezeout. Can someone from sky poker please give me answers because i want to play in the final as ive played in other events but cant seem to be able to qualify. Anyone else on here see that as an issue as well?

I had this problem earlier in the week, i got fed up with it in the end and decided to just play the Semi, i dont understand why they cancel it seems as its a rebuy, if it doesnt reach the £24 just pay out the cash instead.

OK this has now been changed. The minimum number of players required for SPT rebuy satellites is now two.

I understand that the rebuy sats were set up with the Freezeout satellite arrangements for minimum runners, 5 for a 1 in 5 and 10 for a 1 in 10, which clearly is not an issue when you have to allow for rebuys

So, from here, no event should be cancelled. Thanks for pointing this out and sorry for the inconvenience to date.
