Evening everyone,

Yes we're live on Channel 865 tonight for another four-hour pokerathon.

And I'll be in the driving seat along with Mr Value Town himself, Ed Giddins.

It's £22 to enter if you fancy seeing your names up in lights tonight and have your play analysed.

And of course, we'll be reading your emails
skyopen@bskyb.com and messages on this thread throughout the night.

Please send your hand IDs, comedy stories, shout-outs, questions etc etc as it really makes the show.

Looking forward to hearing from you all and good luck in the main event!

:)

OK here's a couple of questions for tonight to get the ball rolling. One poker and one non-poker...

    (1) Can you predict how people will be playing poker in 50 years from now?

    (2) Of all the famous people you find attractive, which one are you most embarrassed to admit to?

    ;)

They won't. We will all be too busy to play poker after the zombie apocalypse.

    (1) People won't be playing poker in 50 years - the ruling ants will be playing! People will be the chips as we call them now. Mark my words.

    (2) Ronald McDonald. Burger-maker extraordinaire, red hair and giant floppy shoes - undeniably attractive but embrarrassing to admit.

...er, no email from you so far Elliot. It may have got caught in the works somewhere. To be honest it's better if everyone posts on this thread as I will see it straight away, thanks to the fact I'm now parked firmly in front of the computer all night!

    1)  I have no idea but I guarantee a percentage of them will be posting their bad beats in Area 51.

    2)  Do you REALLY expect me to admit that for broadcast on a live TV show....Never happen lol.

well, in 50 years time I expect people will be making the same donk plays they do today, otherwise everyone will quit playing. I imagine the 5 and 6 bet will be common as **** though.

As for embarrassing celeb crush... I can't believe I'm even admitting this, but... lisa marie *hides head* excuse me while I kill myself in shame.

Although I agree with Machka, since that trip to value town Ed holds a very special place in my heart alongside lisa. <3

i think in years to come people will be playing poker from home, but wearing a helmet like thing which makes it look like you are actually in the casino sitting nest to someone like virtual place, and you can sit and chat with the peoplr around the table.

its embarrassing to admit to the younger generation who you use to fancy when they only know them as old oap such as robert redford and paul newman tina
